Ludwig couldn't get over it. It had only been a month since Prussia was dissolved and his brother had simply died, but Ludwig already knew it would never be okay.
His brother hadn't died immediately; it had taken a week for him to die. Gilbert had become horribly ill. Shivers, heat flashes, aches, fever... sometimes he coughed so hard there was blood. Ludwig felt responsible, and took care of him to the best of his abilities, but Gilbert seemed content just to have him stay with him through the night.
The whole time, they both knew he was dying, and Ludwig felt awful then, but it wasn't until he woke up lying in bed next to his brother's unmoving body that the full weight of depression finally sank in, leaving him ragged and hollow.
There was a funeral service. Not a very big one, but nearly everyone attended. Even Roderich, normally with bitter resent aimed at the former nation at the best of times, had been there, and though he looked composed, Ludwig thought he saw

Hetalia meets Kingdom HeartsThis world It was unlike any other they had seen. Ivan was bored.
He was wandering around the Beehive, trying to find something to do. He had to admit though, New Zealand's environment was very nice, very green.
"Is something wrong Ivan?"
Ivan turned around and he slowly smiled when he saw it was Annabelle who had addressed him.
"No, nothing's wrong."
Ivan had very...fond feelings for Annabelle. He hadn't noticed her much during WWI, mainly because he was busy with his country and because she was still pretty young, she looked about 14. But during WWII, when things were calmer for him, he began to take notice of Annabelle. She was rather attractive in her military uniform, it had fallen very nicely on feminine curves that she had aquired since he last saw her. He also noticed the black scarf she wore around her neck. Ivan noticed that she always wore it, even when it was warm. And he also noticed that she wore it with pride, as if it was a medal. The two of them had started diplomatic relations in 1

Into the Darkness Part 1The only sounds around Kiku were the cries of battle. Metal on metal as swords clashed and repelled one another. Screams and cries of pain echoed through out the field, both physical and emotional, as many men were slain. So many lost friends and brothers; fathers and sons. At the head of the army fighting for the emperor, one man stood tall. He led them all into what he hoped was victory. The opposing shogun's army was strong and heavily outnumbered them. Among this opposing side, one lone samurai stood out among the rest. Unlike many of the others in the sweltering summer heat, this man was fully clothed and armored from head to toe so that no trace of skin could be seen below. His strength was much greater than any of the humans' and was even enough to possibly overpower a healthy nation like himself. This one man was taking on as many of Japan's men at one time as he possibly could, and came out victorious with nigh a scratch on him.More Like This

When the sun's light shone into the library the next morning, it fell on the two brothers who were still sleeping on the couch. At some point during the night, they had shifted positions. England had fallen over and was now laying stretched out on the couch as if it was a bed. America was still on top of him, but he had moved around so much in his sleep, that he had somehow managed to turn himself upside-down. His legs were propped up and resting on the couch's back, his back was stretched across England's legs, and his head and shoulders were dangling off the edge of the couch. One of America's hands was on his stomach. His other arm was hanging off the couch as well. At the end of it, his hand still clutched the pillow with which he had fallen asleep.
As uncomfortable as the position looked, America was having no trouble sleeping like that. His mouth hung wide open as he slept, c

Later that evening, America and England sat down for what should have been a quiet meal together. However, England was having difficulty enjoying his food because of let's just say of how well America was enjoying his. After taking care of America for so long, England had become used to America's noisy eating habit, but this meal it seemed like America had really turned up the volume. England observed it all in pure amazement as America (not too silently) wolfed down his food as if he had not eaten in weeks. Desperately, his hands grabbed at anything edible within his reach and stuffed it in his mouth. He was hardly bothering to chew. One would think that his small mouth would not be big enough to hold the all the nourishment he was forcing into it, but he somehow managed to stuff all the food in (Most of it anyway. The rest ended up all over and around him). In the course of all this action, A

Once again, America stood his ground. He closed his eyes. In disparity, he had now switched to "Maybe if I can't see him, he can't see me," mode.
"Alfred!" England called a third time. This time his voice had England's "I'm warning you," tone to it. This was it. America was feeling sicker by the minute. "This is your final chance.
