Truth or Dare, Cato?" Clove asked, mimicking Glimmer's crawling voice like the girl from District 1 had asked Cato at an earlier point of the Games.
Now there were only the two of them left with those lovebirds from District 12.
"Truth" Cato answered lazily, but playing along.
Clove's expression turned serious.
"Would you rather sit here with Glimmer or me?"
"You" Cato answered without hesitating.
"Oh, really?! It didn't look like that when you were playing around with her all the time or when you-"
She was silenced by Cato's lips that were being pressed on hers.

The killer walks through silent streets,
hunting for her prey.
Her best friend is by her side,
and will be all the way.
She throws a knife,
so fast it flies.
She kills with satisfaction.
When it is her time to die,
her friend holds her hand.
"Stay with me." He says,
though there is no hope.
Then he hunts alone,
like he was born to, he kills.
He grabs someone by the head,
and gets shot in return.
As he falls down,
to the ground.
He remembers his friend,
who he truly did love.
As he was tortured to death,
he thought about love.
Bred to kill, born to die,
he was shot in the head, and only then did he die.
Lingering NightI lick my lips and stare out across the plain. Dawn is almost here. It's almost time. My right hand grips the hilts of four slim knives while my left hand is tucked carefully under my armpit. It's bloody cold out here. My exposed fingers are almost blue with cold and my ears are freezing.More Like This
Cato left just a few minutes ago to scout for any tributes that might be heading this way. I expect three of them to show up. Moira from 5, Thresh from 11, and, of course, Katniss from 12. Peeta won't, probably. I still can't believe Cato let him get away. He's assured me, though, over and over, that Peeta will die any day now. A cut like that left untreated, assuming he doesn't bleed out, will get infected. It's actually a miracle he hasn't died already. It's a miracle she hasn't died already. Figures I decide to volunteer the year District 12 sends in a pair like Fire Girl and Lover Boy.
I grit my teeth as thoughts surface that I'd prefer to keep subdued. Our trainers always told us to

I am sixteen years old and I live in district two.
I have long black straight hair, greenish blue eyes,
a little bit of freckles, full lips and a mole on the
upper left side of my mouth.
I am short, skinny, and petite.
My personalty is unique I guess.
I, sadly, am an orphan and I have been since I was three.
I was found on the porch of the training center with two letters.
One for me and one for the center asking if they could take
me in and train me for the Hunger Games
And they did. So I basically live for the Games, literally.
I live in the poor part of district two by the woods and river. The wealthy
people of the district call us poor, dirty, worthless nobodies which makes
no sense at all because some of us are the ones who win
the Hunger Games and gets them food!!! Anger aside,
I have a house it's not MY house since the center gave to me
Clove and Cato win- District 2I shiver at the thought of President Snow's face. He seemed so mad at me. What I did really must have been disappointing. Now I don't even want to go back home. Cato grabs my hand and half-drags me towards our mentors. I whimper. I hate it when he gets mad like this. He seems to be mad at me, too. He's merciless now. As merciless as he was inside that torturing arena.
Brutus snickers at the sight of this. He smiles and takes Cato by the hand. He whispers something in Cato's ear, and he laughs. But Cato doesn't. He just stares.
I hate Brutus for some reason. He's always seemed so rude. Merciless. Is it he who taught Cato to be like this?
But Enobaria is nothing like this. She's so nice. She's helpful, she's t

I smile back. Fortunately, none of us are hurt badly. He sits next to me, accommodating himself. "So ?" He says.
I find myself blushing, so I quickly look away from him. "So what?" I ask, still turning my head away from him. I roll my eyes. He's so flirty.
He wraps a comforting arm around me. I glance up at him, then raise an eyebrow. He laughs, "Wow. You really have a bad attitude don't you?"
"I might. Or I probably do," I joke. Careers don't have an attitude. Their never happy. The only people in the whole Panem that are happy are the Capitol! We can't be happy. None of the other Districts are happy either.
Clove and Cato win- The CapitolCato's words shocked me. I never would have thought he would say that. It's so hard to believe. The Peacekeepers finally come inside the room and tell us to get into a car. We get inside the car and it drives us into the train station. I don't talk to anyone in the car. Not Taura, not Cato. I just stare out the window. Once we get there, I get pretty excited, because I'll finally get to meet my mentor.More Like This
I jump of the car and run towards the train. I hear Taura yelling at me to slow down, but I ignore her and go straight on. The train stops and its doors slide open. I step inside. Taura quickly picks up her pace and meets me a few minutes later, Cato behind.
Foods everywhere of different colors and sizes. I gasp at the sight. Us, Districts, starving to death, while the Capitol gets this sort of treatment. My gasp is a mixture of madness and sorrow. How come these people get all of this?

The mutts have been taken back. They're not in the arena anymore. The crumpled jacket has now been picked up by Cato, "Hey, these are your knives!" He says, "Don't get them messed up," he doesn't seem to realize that we have to kill each other.
I turn around and stare him, "You don't understand, Cato. I'm going crazy!" I yell at him. I'm not in the mood for one of his Career jokes. Not in the mood at all.
"Not crazier than you already are," He says, but this time, his eyes are filled with rage, horror, and darkness. He seems to have gotten over his jokes, too.

I know my family wants to see me. I haven't been very nice to my family, though, not really. Mother always calls me an arrogant girl, and I've gotten quite annoyed by it. I'm tired of mother. My sister, she's another thing. I love her so much. She's so little, she can barely care of herself. But if I die, my older sister will take care of her, I know she will.
I want to go home with Cato, and I'm hoping the Capitol is not playing any trick on us. I remembered the reaping, how I had dreaded that Cato volunteered. We hadn't been that close, but we had been good friends. He would often come to my house.
But now, I love him. Cato

It's going to be horrible if he dies. He's my only friend. He's trained for eleven years already. I'd say he could most probably win the Games. He can snap someone's neck in a turn. He can throw a spear from many yards away. He's best with a sword, though.
I, instead, am better with throwing knives. I never miss, you see. So If I'm called, I'm not really afraid. When you come from a Career District, you think the Hunger Games are an actual game. You kill with raw power, no matter who it is. Especially if you come from District 2. District 2 has the largest pool of victors.
But when you have two sisters that are going to see you fight to the death, and

I stretch a bit in my bed before changing and getting out of the room. I talk to Enobaria before I'm taken into the room. I might get killed today, but who cares. That's probably what all the other tributes are thinking. 'Yeah, I'm gonna get killed. But I knew that already. I should just step of the platform and be sent sky-high, or jump in front of a Career and make them chuck a knife at me.' Explain why someone would say that?
Then I'm taken into the hovercraft. A woman grabs my arm and inserts my tracker. Then I'm inside the room and Atella stands there. "Atella!" I run to hug her.

Numbers flash through Arthur's head, sparking and flaring in time with the spasms which shake his body. For every number there's a new ache perhaps in his ankle, his temple, his shoulder. But they all concentrate in his capital.
It had been one week since Germany had started bombing, just seven days, and Arthur had got minimal sleep throughout. The sunset brought him no joy, just a lingering sense of dread and foreboding.
Would it happen again tonight?
It always did. The whine of the Luftwaffe overhead would come first, swiftly followed by the loud crash as the bombs fell burning, shattering, crushing all they met. Screams would fill the air, yells of terror and frustration, the sobs of children and women cutting through the night like shards of glass. Arthur had tried to help, the first few nights he'd been out with the firefighters, diving into burning buildings, throwing bucket after bucket

England stumbled around the ruins. His once beautiful city of high building and huge factories was now rubble wastelands abandoned as soot filled the almost deadly blacken air. He could never leave his city not when it needed him so much although there was not a lot that he could do the nightly bombing raids were increasing the fear factor throughout his people and in all truth they scared him to, he had not sleep properly in weeks and his People in London were now forced to sleep in the underground stations for protection or in their own homemade bomb shelters that in all honesty if they were hit they would really be of no use.
England clutched his ribs and gave out a soft cry "th-that bastard, he just bombed Birmingham I swear after this war is over Germany I'm bloody killing you". Arthur began to cough up blood as he felt the pain of his people dying in Birmingham if the first explosion from the bomb did not kill them or the impact of the falling buildings then they would
