Drew this after seeing a HUGE machete over at the Bushcraft forum and getting into a discussion with one of my mates there for a suitable name for it. I said it couldn't be called a Zombie slayer since a zombie was already dead and therefore couldn't be slayed. Southey agreed and came back withthe name The Redeadener. Which I htought was just class and it inspired this drawing of Bushcraft Betty in a post apocalyptic setting.
Another in my Lara Croft "if only" series. I really like the character and I liked playing the games (at least the first 2) But Lara just needs to take herself a little less seriously sometimes, or pehaps have a little "incident" now and then to show she's not always so perfect.
As the caption says. My Office Assistant Paige is a handful - Her filing is useless, she always forgets to put the sugar in the coffee. She's given four different spell check programs nervous breakdowns. But I wouldn't change her for the world
Another commission I did for She has a fine looking gun collection, so I thought I'd do something with a gun theme... the obvious choice for that was her as the classic dressed Lara Croft. (Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry played no small part in this as well)
Ashley felt she's constantly living in the shadow of Jenny, so a couple of chat with the head-shrinker seems to have done wonders for her self esteem. The poor psychiatrist might be finding it a tad stressful though.
I've been a bit under the weather lately with a stomach bug so to make myself feel better I went looking for some lines to colour here on DA. Having the work of my namesake and "King of the Glamour Girls" Mr. Bill Ward fresh in my mind (I was given "The Wonderful World of Bill Ward" as a gift) I thought something a little (or a lot) glam was in order.
I soon discovered the work of ASSESINA. A suprememly talented artist of the exact type that I was looking. This Catwoman drawing was just one of so many that I could've coloured and I'm sure that in future (hopefully not only when I'm feeling crappy) I'll be colouring more of her work.
This is page 1 of a 51 page comic I drew a couple of years ago and posted at my website. I often have a feature comic going of one form or another. Currently there a comic featuring Princess Leia... but that's literally another story.
Anyway I figured this comic deserved posting here for the rest of the world to see.
Hope you like it.
Do I need to say this is best viewed in its page sequence?
Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features Minna in an unfortunate Hula accident. Being a hula dancer is hard work, especially having to do all the classic movements while playing the ukulele... so when there's a wardrobe malfunction in the case of her grass skirt slipping downward, she's lucky to not be so lost in concentration that she was able to use her ukulele to catch the skirt just in time!
