Deviation request completed for: :iconomega-speed:

I have completed another deviation request for my friend Eric. Featured here is Minako Aino clad in an Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) gown.

Sleeping Beauty gown (c) Walt Disney.
Minako Aino (c) Naoko Takeuchi.

:iconarthurt2013: - this is the 2nd time I'd be drawing Mina clad in a Disney girl character's outfit. The first one; she was in Alice's dress.
- to be honest; I really don't know what sparkling thingies I'm gonna draw on her necklace and crown.

Page 14 of Kerry's Royal Shoes - a shoeshine themed manga for: :iconomega-speed:

The excited crowned Princess Katy tells her big sister to have her turn and have her shoes polished by Arthur. He sort of... turns red as Kerry approaches.

:iconarthurt2013: - just like in the page when Katy gets ready for a shoeshine. Arthur (me) blushes the same way.
- if anyone seems to ask; that is Kerry's silhouette in panel 3.

Queen Kerry Adarvez intends to confirm Arthur the shoeshine boy's fetish for women's footwear. She also wishes to see whether he can control his love or stay away from temptation.

:iconarthurt2013: - it's been a long time since I last posted new pages for Kerry's Royal shoes. The last time I did it was the end of january after I was hospitalized.
- looks like I flunked at something. I forgot Sailor Mini Moon's choker in panel 1.

I have completed yet another giantess/shoeshine alt POV deviation for Eric's OC Danielle Adarvez right on time on her birthday. (whew!) I also did the same for her with the giantess/shoeshine last year.

A Shine for Danielle by ArthurT2013 Danielle Adarvez (c) Omega-Speed

:iconarthurt2013: - I had to make sure I don't disappoint that fine young lady on her special day. So I had to get this finished throughout the night.
- if you look closely, my jacket's blue color clashes with her blue inner skirt.
- I really like this... her shoes are blue, my favorite color.

Well, how about this?

Although I'm starting to post some colored in pics of Sailor Venus, especially for :iconarthurt2015:, I thought I'd do one of Lita Kino/Sailor Jupiter, for :iconmeganekkoplymouth241:.

The last time I ever did this, I was sick after a rainstorm.

So, regardless, what do you think of this, Thomas?  :)

How do you like this one, Arthur :iconarthurt2015: ?

I didn't have an idea of what title I could give it, so I'm open to suggestions on what you'd like it to be called, if you want me to rename the title.  ;)

But regardless, what do you think?

Although I didn't vector this one like the others, I'd say that this would be a pic that you can put into your photo album, or something.  ;)

If you don't mind me saying so, too, your wife's a lovely lady.  :)

I don't know if I told you that before, but if I didn't, I said it, now.  ^^

I didn't vector this one, like the other, but I darkened and contrasted it a bit, and I finished her off by using MS Paint to color her.

You can at least see the coat yokes that I nearly destroyed my hands on! This was my first time working with interfacing, creating buttonholes, and inserting lining into a garmet, let alone making a fully functional coat! All of the hard work sure paid off though! I won my first costume contest with this cosplay. :) The costume took about 6-8 hours a day for a month (some procrastination was involved) to complete. This includes tasks such as dying the wig, inserting wire into the scarf, making shoe covers, and creating the cormorant sticker for the briefcase.

P.S. On the left side of the photo, you can see that  I am wearing Eudial's slippers. :iconhurrplz: Thank goodness for slippers! My feet started killing within the first few hours of the convention, so I ended up wearing the slippers most of the time in what I called "snail trolling" mode.

So cute
:iconletrune:
Collection by
It took a while to finish -- mostly due to interruptions, but also to the inordinate amount of time I spend cleaning the piece up in Photoshop.  With it, however, I come to the end of recent drawings, leaving me free to move on to newer work.  "Gas Stop" is an homage to a European cartoon series called "The Jungle Show."  One of the musical episodes was called "On the Dark Side," and is one of the better songs the story illustrates.  It's also one of my favourite stories.  A mysterious cat woman in red pulls up to a lonely gas stop in the middle of the desert.  She leaves her pink 1959 Cadillac in the hands of the attendant while she goes into the cantina for a beverage.  Meanwhile, the wolf mechanic sings this sort of Bruce Springstein number about his always being on the "dark side" of life.  The cat-woman leaves the cantina, pays the gas jockey and drives away, still mysterious and ice-berg cool.  I don't know why, but I just love it.  In other episodes (none of which create any continuous story), we find out that her name is Jessica.  She and the wolf dude usually have an attraction for each other, but not always.  And in the cartoon she doesn't have a tail.  Well... I couldn't have that!  A cat girl without a tail!  Nonsense!  So I gave her one.  In the cartoon, her Caddy is more generic than mine, and while the garage does have a mirror mounted on a wall above an old sink, I've detailed this one more.  My background desert is more realistic as well.  But overall, I haven't changed the mysterious cat-woman in red by much.

Stars

More cute stuff? You said that you’ll do more creepy stuff. I know, I know, sadly I couldn’t think of anything creepy here since I have a star theme OC. Staffy StarFall is one of the two recruiting party member from my possible game project, "Grandfather's Compass." A fantasy action RPG idea I suddenly came up for unknown reason. Maybe it was my fascination on flight. Or maybe it was my love for adventure/RPG games. Who knows, I tend to get inspired by things easily haha. But anyways, it involves two childhood best friends, Rué Kits and Annale "Ana" Dzaghig, who set out on a grand adventure as they track down the notorious pirate rogues to get Rué's compass back. Along the way they'll encounter friends, enemies, and a legendary secret that is said to be hidden deep within the island.

Staffy is a Astérian [As-tray-ree-an]. A race of aliens where their bodies are composed of nebula. According to their history, these group where said to be exiled from their home planet when they chosen base magic over technology. Staffy (disguise as a human girl) ran away from her village after hearing that her mother recently passed and she’ll one day take responsibility as the new village leader. Sweet, playful, and a bit naive about her surrounding outside of her village, she tags along with Rué and Ana helping on their quest and providing them with some useful spells. She can't handle boss battles.

This drawing was an artistic collaboration between two of my friends my university, Leidy Avellaneda and Sonia Parra and me. :)

Leidy started with the body shape bases and proposing the concept with the girl´s pose for the drawing.
Then Sonia continued giving it the basic forms of the girl´s hair and clothes.
And I finished this artwork by drawing the details on what they gave me and giving it a background according to the concept. :D

I HOPE YOU LIKE IT! :)

Please comment your toughts on this artwork, my friends and me would apreciate your opinions. ^_^

Latest commission for :iconcresent34: !

Boy this was a doozy.   I sort of underestimated the sheer size of this one, not really considering this when setting out the thumbnail options for this piece.   In some ways I wish we could get a closer look at the girls, but the distance of the scene is nice too.   It's nice to see so much, but the tradeoff is that we're so far away.   It's sometimes too bad we can't have everything, ne?

I was thinking about what :iconfirest: said about the previous ones:  how the gel restraints, while nice, looked a bit like they could slide right off.   I had to agree... to some extent.   So this time I took the details and blurred it a little, trying to make the restraints look "stickier" and less slick.    I think the result is really nice!

This piece really was, to me, a practice in textures.   The texture of the conveyor belt vs the hard plastic "strapping tables".   Trying to make Anna's shoes look like suede or a rich velvet, while having Val's shoes "polished" up to the patent leather.   And the little puffs of exhaust coming out fo the machines, I think look nicely shaped.

I suppose if I had a critique, it might be the style of the eyes for Sally and Anna, but it was a tradeoff I had to make.   Since we're so far away, the expressions needed to be exaggerated enough that it could still read from a distance.

What I like most about this is all the little bits of story and narrative we get.  You could really look at this piece for a while and maybe still not get it all.   Each of the robot's interactions with each of the girls.   The costumes under glass.   There's something just... fun about it.

Hopefully the next one around we can get a closer look at our damsels ^_^
But for now, enjoy the panoramic view!

~Heart

King Kong vs. Indominus Rex by Dimension-Dino

Steel: It's time for a primal DEATH BATTLE!!!

Skull Island

The broken land of the long-lost Skull Island were a host to a variety of species, all of differing size, and many of monstrous nature and appearance. However, recently, a new addition had come to the island. Not by chance, so to say, but because someone had put it there. The creature in question was dumped onto this savage island because it had proven too much of a hazard and had put its captors through hell as they tried to contain it.

Deemed too dangerous to be exposed to civilization, the captors had decided to leave the creature on an island they knew was doomed to sink below the waves. Their hope was that the creature would die with the island.

One thing was certain, though--this creature wasn't going to die without taking a few of Skull Island's inhabitants with it.

Out on the swiftly-shrinking lowlands, the grassy plains were already painted red with blood. Five titanic brontosaurs, with massive girths and thick, cedar-like necks and tails, lay dead on the ground. All of them had deep gashes in their sides, likely coming from both tooth and nail. One stirred and emitted a pained groan, but was in so much pain that it could only lift its neck off the ground slightly. It slumped back to the ground and remained motionless.

Something suddenly burst from the trees--a dinosaur no less than two meters high at the shoulder. It was a theropod, the same family as Tyrannosaurus, had a pair of bulbous eyes and a mouthful of teeth. Food, however, was the last thing on its mind. The noise that escaped its mouth was a cry in panic--one that became apparent when another dinosaur burst from the undergrowth in hot pursuit.

The dinosaur in question was MASSIVE, at least fifty feet from nose to tail, and was covered in pale-colored scales that almost resembled spiny armor. Its long arms terminated in four digits tipped with two-foot talons, and its head bore a mouthful of dagger-like teeth. To top it all off, its eyes were the same color as the flames of Hell itself.

The small dinosaur shrieked in panic as the pale-skinned demon gained on it with incredible speed. The thought had just occurred to it when the aptly-named Indominus Rex, the untamable king, reached out with one of its arms and plucked it from the ground. The talons impaling the creature through the abdomen was bad enough, but the predator held up the now-struggling prey, opened its jaws, and slammed them shut on the poor creature's neck. One flex of its neck later and the smaller dinosaur's head was ripped clean off.

Indominus, strangely enough, spat out the head and let the decapitated corpse fall to the ground. Looking around herself, the beast felt satisfied at the carnage it had brought forth and opened her mouth to unleash a loud and echoing roar, daring any nearby to just come and try their luck.

Much to her surprise, though, another roar answered, and it was equally loud and equally imposing. Curious to see just what was in store for her, Indominus stood her ground and roared right back at it.

Not long after that, something stirred in the jungle bordering the lowlands. Trees shook, some even snapped as a shadowy figure occasionally peeked out from the tops of the trees. Indominus tilted her head in curiosity as the figure in the trees came ever closer, then took a slight step back as a shadow appeared in the dense undergrowth not far from it.

From the shadows emerged a massive hand, a hand that was covered in dark-gray skin and matted, pitch-black fur. Another hand swiftly followed and they pulled, from the depths of the densely-wooded area a massive creature. It was a gigantic gorilla-like ape, twenty feet high at least, and whose face was covered in battle scars. From his lower jaw jut a single, large canine, the odd angle of it being the result of a dislocated mandible.

Indominus rex had just summoned the King of Skull Island, the Eighth Wonder of the World himself--King Kong. Judging from the heavy breathing and the stone-like scowl on the ape's face, he looked EXTREMELY pissed off.

Titanic ape and demonic dinosaur glowered at each other. While one was miffed at the aspect of being challenged for supremacy, the other was actually quite thrilled at the thought of a new and bizarre-looking challenger to it.

Kong stood on his hind legs, then unleashed a loud, beastly roar as he began beating his chest with his fists. Indominus took this as a sign to bring it on, then unleashed a bone-chilling bellow of her own and sprinted at Kong.

The massive ape fell down on all fours to meet the dinosaur head-on. Time to decide who was the rightful ruler of this island...

FIGHT!!!

Indominus opened her massive maw, ready to snap them shut on Kong's neck and rip out his windpipe, but was met when Kong whirled to the side and a large, furry fist slammed itself into the side of Indominus' head. The dinosaur veered sideways, but pivoted to turn and face Kong, who was advancing fast for a quick follow-up. He had just gotten close when Indominus met him with a powerful tail-swipe. It hit him full in the ribs and knocked him sideways, allowing Indominus to turn back around and greet him with a mouthful of teeth.

A large hand met her jaw and slammed it shut, forcing her head up as aforementioned hand wrapped around her neck to hold the now-struggling dinosaur back. Indominus thrashed wildly, trying to move her head closer to Kong and take a chunk out of him, but Kong's arms were doing their job well to hold her back.

Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through Kong's forearm. Deciding that biting wouldn't do, Indominus instead reached up and plunged her claws into the ape's arm Kong's grip slackened and Indominus wrenched herself free of Kong's grip before advancing, jaws poised to bite Kong's head off. Rather than his neck, her jaws slammed shut on a thick forearm that he had brought up to block her advance. The ape growled in pain and the force of the charge knocked him on his back, but he was back on his feet in seconds and wrestling the pale dinosaur in an attempt to break free.

Kong eventually wrestled Indominus into a semi-headlock, then used his free hand to grab onto the dinosaur's snout and pulled with all his might. The dinosaur's jaws slowly opened and, with a slight shift, he pulled his other arm free and sent the Indominus falling back with a yelp in surprise.

Kong advanced on the dinosaur and seized her lower neck in one hand and her tail in the other. With a growl, he hefted Indominus up into the air and, with a grunt, tossed Indominus away. The white-scaled dinosaur tumbled across the ground like a rolling log before it dug its taloned legs into the ground to drag itself to a halt.

Indominus roared in fury, then charged Kong once again. Rather than bite or claw at Kong this time, it rammed into the ape with its head to shove him back. It then raised its clawed hand and raked it across Kong's chest, earning a roar in pain from the Wonder of the World. Kong's response to that was to pull back a hairy fist and plant an uppercut that sent Indominus reeling.

Indominus got up, then realized that taking Kong head-on might not be a good idea. She needed something to throw things in her favor and had a good idea on how to do just that.

She turned tail and took off into the thick jungle. Kong, a bit startled and confused at this change in tactics, roared at her retreat and thundered after her. Trees gave way as both beasts plowed through the jungle, small ones even snapping like twigsAfter rounding the corner of a wall of stone, though, Kong completely lost sight of this alien opponent. Grinding to a halt, he looked around for any sign of Indominus, yet couldn't find any. It was almost as though the beast had disappeared off the face of Skull Island.

Kong could tell something was there, though. His nostrils contracted and flared as the familiar scent of the beast hung in the air. He couldn't pinpoint its source, though, only tell that it was still here and likely to be closeby.

Had Kong looked a little closer to a wooded area just a few meters to his left, he would have noticed that one part of the trees was not like the other. A dark-green shape stood in the shade of the trees and was silently, slowly, working its way toward the wary Kong. As it got closer, one could make out a pair of big, red eyes fixed right on Kong's back.

Indominus had cuttlefish DNA mixed into its genes. While initially used to help stabilize its genetic code, especially with the genes of other dinosaurs, it also gave it the natural ability to change the color of its skin. It could go from snow-white to deep-green in a matter of seconds and, in the thick undergrowth, it was the perfect camouflage.

Steadily, Indominus inched closer, the slightest sound would alert Kong to her presence. Movement had to be taken with great care...

Indominus was close now and Kong looked like he had just lost interest in the chase and was starting to move away. It was now or never.

Kong only just heard the approaching footsteps and turned away, just as a set of powerful jaws slammed onto his bicep, teeth digging into the thick muscles. The roar he emitted was loud enough to be heard for miles, yet his years of experience fighting dinosaurs kept a clear head on his shoulders. He lurched forward, ripping his arm free of Indominus' jaws, then reached behind him to wrap his arms around the dinosaur's neck and do a sort of crude judo throw to slam the dinosaur into the ground. However, the excess weight also sent him tumbling forward, too, and both rolled down a steep hillside in a ball of thrashing limbs, slashing claws, and gnashing teeth.

By the time they stopped rolling, Kong was pinned under Indominus' taloned foot and was holding the beast's jaws back as they reached for his neck. One solid push from Kong's massive arms sent the Indominus stumbling off the ape and dangerously-close to a deep ravine. Kong couldn't get back onto his feet in time and the Indominus had already recovered and was going full-speed with a gaping maw. It was coming at Kong from downhill, though, so Kong had a slight advantage in altitude...and he had just the right trick.

Indominus was already there to meet Kong when a large, hand-like appendage caught her around the snout and simultaneously slammed her mouth shut and obscured her vision. It was Kong's foot, for an ape's feet act as a second pair of hands for aid in climbing. Kong used his foot to push the I.Rex back long enough to get to his feet and meet the now-very-disgruntled dinosaur's counterattack. The reptilian beast charged and, rather than try to avoid it, Kong used it to his advantage. He wrapped one arm around the gene-warped monster's neck, the other latching around the base of her tail, then opened his mouth and clamped his massive canines down on Indominus' neck.

Indominus shrieked in pain and lost her balance, causing both to roll forward once again. Kong looked up and saw where they were going and quickly let go of his opponent...just a tad bit too late. Indominus stopped rolling first while Kong didn't stop in time and blindly grabbed the edge of a cliff. Having severe trouble trying to get back up, he only managed to haul himself onto both arms...and then looked up to see Indominus opening its mouth, ready to snap at him and send him plummeting to his death.

Indominus' weight suddenly shifted and she soon saw why when she averted her gaze down and to her right. Kong had reached forward and grabbed her leg, and he was now pulling HARD. Indominus slid closer and closer to the ravine and, with a roar in terror, fell down it. With the threat now permanently dealt-with, Kong worked on pulling himself to safety. One less foe, one less piece of competition...

Something suddenly latched onto his foot and he roared in pain as the extra weight dragged him down, reducing him to one hand left gripping the edge of the cliff. Had he looked down, he would have seen Indominus with her jaws locked onto his ankle. The reason for this was that Indominus didn't fall straight down the ravine, but rather landed, back-first, onto a steep and slippery slope. The slope itself was close enough that, should she actually fall (and she did), she could reach out and latch onto the nearest outcropping she could find.

That outcropping just happened to be Kong's foot.

For a brief few seconds, both hung over the chasm-like drop beneath them, but eventually the cliff's edge couldn't handle about ten tons of weight and crumbled in Kong's grip. Both fell, their roars echoing through the chasm as they plummeted.

It was fortunate for them that the entire chasm was laced with a crisscrossing series of thick vines. As they fell, they snagged on more than a few and the entanglements of plantmatter were enough to actually start slowing their fall until they stopped, suspended in the air. During their fall, Kong had twisted in midair to grapple the pale-skinned monster and, when their fall stopped, he was faced with some rather unfortunate luck--he had landed on top of I.Rex, who had several sharp, pointy things on that end. Indominus' teeth dug into Kong's shoulders and her claws were burying themselves in his chest and forearms. The King of Skull Island's response, however was to reach with one free hand and pry the predator's jaws free of his shoulder, then shoved it back and tore his other arm free of her claws before delivering a powerful punch to her jaw.

Indominus keeled back slightly, then craned forward just as Kong swung again and bit down on his forearm, plunging her claws back into his hairy hide and earning a roar in pain. Kong opted for a different strategy this time and actually shifted his weight so that the two of them rolled to the side, forcing some vines to snap and causing them to fall farther down the ravine. Waiting at the bottom was a narrow waterway that led to a vast, enclosed clearing.

Kong used the momentum of their shifting position and turned it into a swing. He used the momentum to smash the I-Rex's head into the side of the canyon, earning a slight yelp from the dinosaur and slightly loosening her grip. He kicked off from the wall with as much strength as he could and did it again on the opposite wall, causing Indominus' to release her grip on him. Kong pulled back his now-free hand and smashed Indominus so hard in the jaw that the dinosaur leaned back...so far in fact, that she fell free of the vines suspending her like a marionette and plummeted to the waterway with a "splash".

Emerging from the waters like a demonic crocodile, Indominus was back on her feet in seconds and decided to take another tactical retreat, sprinting away as fast as her feet could carry her. Kong immediately took pursuit, but took a slightly-different route, swinging from the vines to land on the wall. Once he found solid holds, he began clambering along the walls with surprising agility, sprang off to catch more vines, then turn it into a swinging leap that landed him right in front of Indominus, who had just made it to the clearing and sought to escape to the only exit available--the one that Kong now barred.

They stood a full thirty meters from each other and remained silent, save for low rumbling growls. The two were pretty much daring the other to try something, to make the first move, their gazes never wavering.

Then it happened. Both unleashed their own determined-sounding roar to indicate their refusal to back away, and they both charged for one final clash.

Kong reached Indominus first, seizing the dinosaur's jaws and clamping them shut as he shifted her head to a more upright position. He then opened his mouth and slammed his sharp canine teeth onto Indominus' left eyeball, twisting his head to maximize the damage his bite had done, and the I.Rex's scream in pain muffled behind her shut maw.

Kong pulled free, throwing pieces of eyelid and eyball out of his mouth, revealing Indominus' eye socket to be a mangled, bloody mess now, then wrestled Indominus to the ground. The dinosaur's legs and arms thrashed wildly at the ape, but he seemed just out of reach of every swipe. Indominus' mouth opened and closed repeatedly as they tried to find something on Kong to bite, his head, his hand, his shoulder, ANYTHING. This was difficult, seeing as Kong was right on her back--the one place a theropod dinosaur could never hope to reach with any body part.

Indominus reared to her feet, Kong now riding her like a bucking bronco and his hands were now fumbling with her jaws...though not to keep them shut. He was now beginning to pry them open. Indominus' jaws could crack open bones and even bulletproof glass, but here Kong was actually prying them open and keeping them that way as she swayed back and forth, trying to buck him off.

Kong shifted his weight and both rolled sideways, Kong getting up first and pinning Indominus under a foot, keeping the dinosaur's back to him. The dinosaur could not turn to bite or claw at him now, though her legs still thrashed to try and get her back on her feet...or so it seemed.

Indominus was not trying to get up to try and kill Kong now...it was wanting to run away, as the now panicked-sounding yelps escaping her throat indicated. She had just now realized her situation and would be glad to escape with her life.

For the first time ever...Indominus Rex was afraid.

One of her taloned hands grazed Kong's hands as they grappled at her jaws and, in fury, Kong pulled back one hand and slammed it down on Indominus' head, almost as though in frustration. He then pinned her head to the ground with one hand and used the other to grab a thrashing forearm and, with a sharp twist, bent it at an odd angle. It snapped, earning a pained roar from Indominus as her thrashing legs kicked out harder and faster, her tail whipping the ground as a result of her increased, panic-induced energy.

Kong grappled her once again, then found a solid hold on her jaws and, with a determined roar, slowly pried her jaws open further and further until...

CRUNCH!

The high-pitched cry that escaped Indominus' throat indicated pain that she had never felt before and never will again. Her mouth hung open far wider than possible and the corners of her mouth bled as testament to ruptured muscles and tendons. Kong had broken her jaw to remove her powerful bite, then put both hands on her snout and shoved downward with a final, disgusting-sounding "snap".

Indominus' body slumped as the edges of her shoved-in snout pierced her brain. Kong roared at the limp body, as though daring it to get back up, even grabbing her head and shaking it for good measure.

Now certain that the demonic-looking creature was dead, Kong placed a foot upon the lifeless form, stood up to his maximum height, then beat his chest and unleashed a roar that sent one very clear message to the inhabitants of Skull Island.

The King was still undefeated.

K.O.!!!

Steel: That...seemed like overkill. I LOVE IT!!!

Ray: Indominus is a dangerous dinosaur, and her enhanced intelligence and camouflaging skills would certainly help her last for a while. However, she is simply outclassed in terms of size, physicality, and skill when compared to the likes of Kong.

Steel: Yes, she can shrug off bullets and bites from other dinosaurs, but Kong doesn't shoot or bite enemies to kill them, he tears them to pieces. It also doesn't help that, when compared to other dinosaurs Kong fights, she's actually a good bit smaller.

Ray: "But why didn't Kong kill those three V-Rexes in a heartbeat if they're so much worse?" First of all, he was protecting Ann Darrow through most of the battle and only had so much to work with. Second, he showed that when he DID have his hands free and didn't have to worry about protecting her, he would be more than a match for a single V-Rex.

Steel: In that battle, Kong has also shown greater versatility, agility, and combat skill than the Indominus Rex ever did show.

Ray: The last point we'll make is that Indominus bears a strong resemblance to theropod dinosaurs, something Kong is used to fighting any day of the week and has had multiple experiences in doing. By comparison, Indominus has never witnessed or fought a being like King Kong, nor has she shown any such combat experience.

Steel: If there's one thing to be learned in a fight like this, it's that you don't make a monkey out of Kong.

Ray: The winner is King Kong.

King Kong vs. Indominus Rex by Dimension-Dino

Ray: They are the rulers and powerhouses of an island locked in the past. Today, they will engage in a battle of primal fury.

Steel: King Kong, the Eighth Wonder of the World...

Ray: And Indominus Rex, Terror of Jurassic World. To avoid confusion, we will specifically be looking at Kong from the 2005 Peter Jackson movie.

Steel: Considering Kong in other movies could fight Godzilla and get stronger by absorbing electricity, probably a good idea. He's Ray and I'm Steel...

Ray: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a DEATH BATTLE.

--

Ray: The year was 1933 and the world was locked in the grip of the Great Depression. Times were tough and people had to get tougher as a result.

Steel: Then, one day, one half of Tenacious D stumbled upon the opportunity of a lifetime. He found a map to a likely-to-be dangerous, uncharted island and decided to make a crapton of money by filming it.

Ray: There was a rumor about this island, though, from a sole survivor of it. He spoke of a huge wall built to keep out a creature, neither beast nor man.

Steel: On day numero uno, it was found out just what this beast was when a leading actress was chosen as the virgin sacrifice to the monster. Here he is, the monkey, the myth, the Eighth Wonder of the World--KING KONG.

Kong by Dimension-Dino
KING KONG...
Species: Megaprimatus kong
First Appearance: "King Kong" (1933, using the 2005 version)
Height: 20-25 feet upright
Weight: 5 tons (estimated)
Diet: Herbivore

Home: Skull Island

FEATS...
Survived a lifetime on Skull Island
-Skull Island is home to plethoras of dangerous beasts and hazardous environments
Fought and defeated three V-Rexes single-handed
-While keeping Ann Darrow safe, at that
Could shrug off rifle and handgun fire
Scaled the Empire State Building in less than a night
Destroyed at least three biplanes before finally plummeting to his death

Ray: Standing almost twenty-five feet high and weighing an estimated five tons, King Kong was both a terror and a wonder to behold.

Steel: Well, who wouldn't be both amazed and terrified at a ginormous gorilla who has tons of scars and is in serious need of a dental appointment? Also, "something neither man nor beast" means a big monkey?

Ray: Ignoring any comments from Steel, Kong's kind looks like a gorilla, but exhibits behavior that is notably different from other apes. He seems more intelligent--almost to near-human standards and is a lot more vicious than the normally-gentle animals that will avoid a fight if they can.

Steel: As you can see by his face, Kong has been fighting to survive for decades and he has a plethora of ways to murder predators and people in general. Those canines aren't just for showing off a cavity or two, he'll use them to bite people in half, rip off sizeable chunks, and do the worst possible tongue-piercing imaginable.

Ray: Kong's greatest weapons, like any ape, are his massive arms. The best estimate comes from measuring the armspan of his closest relative--the Mountain Gorilla. A six-foot ape can sport a pair of four-foot arms, a solid two-thirds of its body height. This means Kong's reach is as far as twelve to fifteen feet.

WEAPONS...
Sharp Canine Teeth
Powerful Arms
-Estimated reach of 12-15ft
Feet
-Act as a second pair of hands
-Useful for climbing and grappling if need be
Anything he can find
-Boulders, branches, etc.

Steel: Science geeks also estimate that modern gorillas are ten times stronger than a human, which is equivalent to a human deadlifting a pair of family sedans. So, with that in mind, Kong's strength is much, MUCH bigger--as in strong enough to break chrome steel chains and cuffs and pry open the jaws of a FREAKING T-REX!

Kong vs Rex by Dimension-Dino

Ray: Ahem! Actually, that is NOT a T-Rex. It's a descendant known as Vastatosaurus rex. These V-Rexes are far more dangerous than their Cretaceous-era ancestors, due to having stronger and more compact jaws and a ribcage that grants them surprising flexibility and agility. For a quick sample, a T-Rex could bite down with more than twelve-THOUSAND pounds per square inch and the V-Rex is stated to have an even stronger bite.

Steel: Just when I thought dinosaurs couldn't get any cooler, people just keep finding a way to do so. The only shame is that Kong can take out three of these guys at once, all while juggling a hapless maiden.

Ray: Kong has also demonstrated remarkable agility and fighting skill, able to traverse the dangerous terrain of Skull Island with little trouble. He also has a different mindset than most apes, being able to multitask and maneuver in hazardous situations.

Steel: Kong's fighting skill was honed by his lifetime on Skull Island. This spot that's totally my next summer home is full of all kinds of dangerous creatures from giant insects to the always-awesome dinosaurs.

Ray: Skull Island is not just home to dangerous animals, but hazardous landscape as well. The entire island is riddled with massive rocky outcroppings like cliffs and mountains, swamps with dangerous waters, and massive chasms laden with gigantic, hellish bugs and worms.

Steel: Note to self--find vacation tickets to Skull Island.

Strong Kong by Dimension-Dino

PHYSICALITY...
Can pry open (and BREAK) the jaws of a V-Rex
-V-Rex jaws stronger than T-Rex's
Broke chains that bound him
-Chains were made of chrome steel
Amazing agility and athleticism
-For his size, is very agile and flexible
-Fast runner and exceptional climber
Different mindset than most apes
-Can be considered near-human
-Capable of on-the-dot strategy, complex emotion, and maintaining a fighting skill
-Quickly adapted from the jungle to the city in terms of covering ground
Surprisingly-fast reflexes
-Reacted fast enough to avoid a V-Rex ambush
Thick hide and muscles
-Tanks V-Rex bites (they still hurt like HELL, though)
-Can shrug off lo-caliber gunfire

Skull Island by Dimension-Dino
SKULL ISLAND...
Known to be way west of Sumatra
Jagged and broken
-Full of craggy mountains, cliffs, and outcroppings
-Dangerous chasms and canyons dot the island
-Some areas are flooded
Home to a variety of dangerous fauna
-Dinosaurs
-Giant invertebrates
-Vicious flying mammals
-Massive, carnivorous fish
-A plethora of others
Regularly experiences seismic activity
-Frequent earthquakes
-Ultimately sank the island in the late 1940's

Steel: In other words, you don't go to Skull Island unless you're familiar with kicking-wait, WHAT?! The island SUNK?! DANGIT! Now I have to cancel my vacation plans!

Ray: Kong is a remarkable specimen to have survived as long as he had on Skull Island and even more so for adapting quickly to traversing the city of New York, but he is not faultless. He has shown to be pretty easy to anger and is only smart on ape standards, not human.

Steel: The big monkey also has no armor in comparison to his opponent. Last I checked, skin and fur don't compare to thick scales.

WEAKNESSES...
Smart only on ape standards
Pretty easy to anger
No armor

Steel: Still, if Kong managed to survive this long in spite of his weaknesses, he should have a more-than-decent chance at this fight. Will he rise to the top? Or will he fall once again?

--

Ray: The year was 2012 and the theme park known as Jurassic World was thriving.

Steel: Well, who wouldn't? Getting to see real live dinosaurs like it was an average, everyday thing, see them at petting zoos, and watch them dismember animals in front of you? I'd be getting front-row tickets!

Ray: However, some believed that, after being subjected to a fascinating event, it started to become dull to see common dinosaurs.

Steel: Deciding to play God, some scientist got it in his head to tamper with the gene pool and "make a new dinosaur". This creature, however, would grow up into one of the most terrifying Frankenstein-horrors in the modern world.

Indominus Egg by Dimension-Dino

Steel: Just like the stitched-together man, the newly-dubbed Indominus rex escaped its prison and ran amok, turning the former place of wonder and fun into a chaos-ruled killfest!

Indominus 2 by Dimension-Dino
INDOMINUS REX...
Lit. "Untamable King"
Height: 18ft at head
Length: 50ft
Weight: 6-8 tons (estimated)
Diet: Carnivore
Home: Isla Nublar

FEATS...
Grew to full size in under three years
Killed its own sibling as a juvenile
Killed a containment team with little effort
Slaughtered heavily-armed ankylosaurs and gigantic apatosaurs just for sport
Took on a team of raptors and a T-Rex single-handed

Ray: Eighteen feet tall, weighing as much as an elephant, and at least fifty feet long from nose to tail, Indominus is far larger than many theropod dinosaurs, including T-Rex.

Steel: This is due to the fact that it's not just one kind of dinosaur, it's a crapton of them cut apart and put together. There's the typical T-Rex and raptor, but then there's the added bonus of a few others like Giganotosaurus and Carnotaurus.

Ray: It doesn't end with just dinosaurs. See, in the world of Jurassic Park, scientists had to use the DNA of other animals to fill genetic gaps. This is why many are not "scientifically accurate" or have feathers.

Steel: Stupid science, QUIT SCREWING OVER MY CHILDHOOD! Anyway, because of the use of other animals in its code, the I-Rex has a few tricks up her sleeves-yes, it's a girl-like camouflage to blend in with its surroundings, the ability to detect body heat, and mask its own.

Ray: Indominus also has an ace in the hole that puts her above most dinosaurian predators. It's INTELLIGENT. It can form strategies, communicate with other dinosaurs, and even outsmart humans and our advanced technology. It's so smart that it can even be considered of borderline-human intelligence. It also has quite the memory because it removed a tracking device that was implanted into it as a juvenile.

Steel: Also, unlike other dinosaurs and VERY much like me, it doesn't kill to eat (it IS an option, though), it often kills JUST FOR THE SAKE OF IT! And it does so with a lot of sharp, pointy things known as claws and teeth. It's got the teeth of a T-Rex and the claws of...er...some OTHER awesome dinosaur, I'm sure! These claws and teeth can puncture the glass of a gyrosphere that, as Jimmy Fallon pointed out, could resist a fifty-cal bullet! Think they can make another one just so I can have it as a pet?

Ray: No! That reptile-man you got last time nearly got us arrested! The damage bill was gigantic!

Steel: Hey! Only SIX people died that time! Considering my track record, that's borderline nothing happening!

Ray: The six ruined buildings say otherwise.

Indominus weapons by Dimension-Dino
WEAPONS/ABILITIES...
Jaws
-Lined with sharp teeth that will be replaced if broken
-Can extend to swallow large prey, like a snake
-Strong enough to pierce bulletproof glass (est. bite force at least 10,000 psi)
Claws
-Four on each hand
-Each about 2ft long and can puncture bulletproof glass
-Can actually reach and grab to an extent
Camouflage
-Changes the color of its skin to help blend in with its surroundings
-Due to cuttlefish DNA implanted to stabilize its genetic code
Thermal Alteration
-Lowers its body temperature to avoid detection by technology
-Due to tree frog DNA to stabilize its genetic code
Thermal vision
-Can see and detect body heat of prey
-Gained from viper DNA (the same that gave it extendable jaws)

INTELLIGENCE...
Unlike most dinosaurs, can form strategies and plan ahead
Can be considered borderline-human intelligence
Capable of communication with other species
Killed and hunted for fun
-Slaughtered other dinosaurs, but rarely ate them
Good memory
-Removed a tracking implant because it remembered where it was put in

Steel: Indominus is quite the specimen and is very difficult to kill or fight. It can run up to thirty-five miles per hour, flip a one-ton truck, tank gunfire and a near point-blank missile explosion, and kill freaking ankylosaurs!

Ray: Ankylosaurs were among the most difficult animals to kill. They're heavily-armored, low-slung, and armed with a tail club that can shatter even thick bones. Indominus not only took a direct hit from that club and didn't appear badly phased, it actually flipped the creature over and killed it--something even a full-grown T-Rex couldn't pull off.

Steel: But, as awesome as she is, no dinosaur is perfect. She has no real forms of ranged attack or defenses against them, is a psycho after years of confinement and isolation, and its senses CAN be deceived.

PHYSICALITY...
Strength
-Can flip over a 1-ton truck or a 4-ton ankylosaur
-Supports its own weight
Speed
-Top running speed is estimated 30-35mph
Durability
-Withstood and flat-out ignored lo-caliber gunfire
-Survived a point-blank RPG explosion
-Nonlethal weapons are practically useless
-Ankylosaur tail club, which can break bones, did little notable damage

Mosasaur KILL by Dimension-Dino
WEAKNESSES...
Psychopathic due to years of confinement
Senses can be deceived if it's unfamiliar with the object
No ranged attacks
Can't pierce strong armor

Ray: By the time Indominus was dragged to a watery grave, the damage was already done. It left the park in chaos, released dangerous animals on innocent customers, and ultimately caused Jurassic World to shut its doors.

Steel: And, to top it all off, it became one of the most feared monsters in modern cinema. I LOVE IT!

My revamped design for C-Rex.

I stuck to most of my initial design for Crustaceous Rex.  However, the mouth now has pincers and the tentacles are longer so he doesn't have to bend down to ensnare prey.
