Our kitty sadly didn't make it T__T
The lump on the side of his head was something that had a starting point in his salivary glands which is why it started growing rapidly in the first place.
The surgery would have been a complete success as the vet managed to remove and clean everything, but there was one smaller lump remaining and growing right on his jugular vein.
He asked us what did we want to do. He told us he could let him live like this but the lump near his jugular would have to remain because there was no way of removing it, and because it was in that particular place it would grow even faster...
We decided to put him to sleep rather than to have him suffer as he recovers from surgery with the lump on his artery continuing to grow and eventually suffocating him, or bursting up and poisoning him..
