EDIT: Emergency sale to help my rats!*EDIT* A HUGE thank you to my friend Brandon who gave me $70 to get my rats a new cage! They now have a three floor rat manor! They're so happy it's crazy.More Like ThisI'm going to work my butt off for that $70 though... Everything in the journal here is still for sale.
My rats have been in a 20 gallon reptile tank with a screenwire lid for two months. However, recently they chewed through the metal lid. Yeah. o.o That didn't bother me, as I was just going to get them a new lid, a stronger one like the lids I use for my snakes. Until last night.
I was trying to slide open their cage lid. It was sticking, no big deal, it does that a lot. Pop, snap, crunch, and the glass to their tank broke. Not only is their cage now unsafe for them, but the lid is stuck and I can move it only a few inches. Just enough to get them food and water.
The two splits in the glass run all the way to the top and bottom. I pushed the glass in enough so that for now it can't hurt my rats unless they really try to rub on i
