Community Volunteers Interviews - Part 1Daily Deviations WeekMore Like This
Community Volunteers can seem confusing, intimidating, or intriguing at times. The community tends to have many questions for them, and does not always fully understand who they are as people and what they do as volunteers on DA. In this two part interview we hope to answer and address some of your many questions!
1. What factors do you look for when assessing a potential Daily Deviation? What are some of the toughest factors that you face in your decision making?
Technical skill is big because the community wants to see the best of the best in the DDs section so I try to deliver. Originality and concept are also big factors for me. If the piece can bring about an emotional response as well, then it is truly a piece of art in my opinion.
Something that stands out among the rest or has a well conceived underlying message. I especially like strong characters, and by that I mean ones that have flaws

When you like drawing, but seek for something stronger than pencil, ink might be a good choice. While it takes time to get used to it (like everything), it's not that hard when you learn the basics, and this article will focus on one of the common uses of ink - lineart.
The first thing that you need is ink. But what kind? Depending whether you plan to draw a lone ink drawing, or mix it with something else, there are different options for different ways of handling your picture. Here are the most common choices:
Waterproof ink - is the most useful when you want to add a layer or layers of paint or water-diluted ink (with a brush) over your your lineart.

What must any of us do before we can understand what we read in the Book of Life? When is one ready to write upon its pages his or her own contributions?
Life is no passive gathering of information. It is not a spectator sport. Only in participation is one truly alive. In order to express feelings or opinions about anything in life, one must have a personal experience of it. Only personal experience conveys the qualification and the right to speak, to write or to create art as explanation and explication of any topic of discussion and debate.

I need a main(s) script editor I can go to for Chasm Crossing. Over the period of several months and struggling with writing dialogue scenes, I've come to terms and realized that I'm not a writer. So I've decided that I need someone I can throw ideas at, review the script, or even give me the blunt truth of something being boring or not working (I'm looking for honesty). In return, you'll be credited and be apart of the team on this long journey.
I need someone I can talk about story with. I'm really struggling here, and I know writing isn't my strong suit. I'm putting the pieces of my series together, and things aren't just going well.
Please give me examples of things you've written so I
