"Aren't you afraid you don't have a job?"
"Aren't you afraid you don't have a girlfriend?"
"Aren't you afraid you don't have your future figured out?"
I am afraid of my future.
I am afraid because society has beaten the idea of it mercilessly into my head.
I am afraid because I'm being told my choices now will affect my whole life.
I am afraid I can't make those decisions yet.

Your perfect the way you are,
Despite what they might tell you,
You're as bright as a star.
My days are filled with agony,
When you are feeling down,
For you are my princess,
And my heart is your crown.
So please don't fret my love,
For I am by your side,
Life is quite a journey,
And we all must take the ride.
Promise me you'll remember,
That you're beautiful it's true,
And I can't imagine life,
Never knowing you.
You're off to better things,
And I wish you the best,
I hope you won't forget,
You deserve nothing less.
So remember you this poem,
When you are feeling all alone,
I hope it will remind you,
You can always come back home.
