i dont speak for everyone, but i know that when i look at comments, my order of reading is this, their icon and then their name
theres been a couple of times that i failed to recognize a friend's comment because they changed their icon, so even the icon is a big deal if you are trying to make a name for yourself, its really like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.
now if you change both your name and icon, its a pretty damn risky thing. I know DA sends your watcher a notice about name change, but you also have to know that there are lazy bastards like me who would fail to see those things when i'm distracted.
