i named this flower Underwater, because it is supposed to be flower and it looks like coral. Corals are animals, so that's why Underwater.

Tweaked from params that tatasz gave, tweaked and got some help from zy0rg regarding depth and sineblur.

managed to find the time and get a render finished for this months won last time round so he set the challenge of ABox/Menger3/Ides in any order ... thanks to Hal for posting tips..the high Zsubmultiplier works well
Here I used ABox (6), Ides (1), Meng3 (5) and three spotlights as well as a lightmap for diffuse

Broaddtich Pond a few miles from where I live ... was a special place during my childhood and fond memories live on to this day !!

Entirely done in UltraFractal 5. This one came so well balanced from UltraFractal, that I didn't need any PShop layers blending modes, only some Curves and Hue/Saturation touch.

I received many questions on how to use Volumetric Lighting in Mandelbulb3D 1.8.9 so here is a quick tutorial. Hope this helps!

Made with Mandelbulb3D, single formula used (AmazingSurf). Rendering time on this formula is unusually small, this one took 5 minutes, but most are below 3 minutes (7000X4000px or so!)
I just added a sky taken from my window.

Sorry if a little big, it's already downsized and compressed more than I'm used to do; I was tired to lose details and wanted to use the file as my desktop image.
Oh, the name comes from 2 small holes on the right side of the pass, they looked like a snake bite sign
