“WHAT?!” Mako yelled at Korra angrily.
“Mako, it’s my duty as the avatar to help people and as a member of the southern watertribe.” Korra tried to explain to Mako, but he wasn’t having it. Why now? She had just ended one war and now she’ll have to end another.
The northern and southern watertribes were in an argument, which later turned into an all out war. Korra’s father was involved and since she was the avatar, he knew she could help them.
Mako turned his head away from Korra. He couldn’t believe the woman he loved was about to walk into another battle, and there was nothing he could do about it. He hated it, he hated the feeling of being helpless to protect her. That’s how he felt when Amon was bloodbending them. He watched Korra get her bending taken away, and there was nothing he could do. He could only just sit and watch.
“If you’re going, than I’m going with you.” Mako said to Korra.
