In Arms of Sorrow - CHAPTER 4More Like This
I heard desperate high pitch squealing, followed by a burning pain all over my neck and arms. It felt like small dagger cuts, spreading poison under my skin. I could hear someone calling out for help, screaming, crying, begging. It was a female voice. My body was hurting like crazy, my limbs slowly went numb. I was petrified. I couldn't open my eyes, I couldn't tell what was going on. I was afraid Someone was fighting for their life not too far from me. Could it be Twelve? Or perhaps Glimmer? My body got heavier, I couldn't move myself. I tried to stand up, I tried to run.. nothing. The screams got louder and louder. Than I realised.. I needed to be saved aswell. The daggers piercing me have doubled, so did the pain. My skin was burning.
TRACKER JACKERS! My mind was screaming! Damn it! We got attacked by Tracker Jackers. A stung after another, their poison can be deadly and causes hallucinations.. Was I going to die like this? Killed by buggs?I violently opened my
Mocking - A Clato story part 3When we pull into the train station at the Capitol, all we can see is a mass of bright colours. Pinks, golds, blues... a whole rainbow. And the colours don't just stop at clothes; Skin, hair, eyebrows, nails are all brightly coloured, like the jewels that the people of District 1 unearth. Those jewels are from the time when humans wasted supplies, and left us nothing.More Like This
I look over at Cato, and he seems just as transfixed as i am. His eyes are wider than normal and his lips are parted ever so slightly, letting his hot breath steam up the window. I nudge him with my elbow and we both start to smile and wave, like Brutus had told us to.
"Gain sponsors" he'd told us, "There's a chance you won't need them need them, but if there's no water in the arena you'll need sponsors. Plus, it's better people sponsoring you than some other District."
So smile is what we do. We wave and laugh and the citizens smile and wave back. The window is still slightly steamed up, so i write 'I ♥ U' in the p

Clove and Cato win- The Capitol 23More Like This
We eat at the dining room attached to the many training stations. This is where allies are made. I get a tray and ask for lamb stew with dried plums. "So, Cato, who are you going to ask, then?" I ask. I look around and spot the two tributes from 1 sitting in a table, laughing together. "Let's go, over there." I point at them.
We walk towards the tributes. Then I slam my tray down onto the table and sit. It's no problem to intimidate the other Careers, either. "Hello," I smile, "I'm Clove." I don't say more, I don't want them to think I'm all nice and everything.
"You're the knife throwing freak. We watched you train, and we think you're good," Says the boy. "I'm Marvel. And you are?" He asks Cato, raising an eyebrow and gesturing towards him. I'm already starting to dislike him.
"Cato," He says coldly. He doesn't seem to like the other two tributes much, either. They're the luxury it

The prep team, Taura, and Atella are supposed to get here any moment, but first I'm off to meet Cato. The victory tour is today. I walk the way towards his house, my coat rattling in the cold winter air. Inside, I'm welcomed by Noreen, Cato's mother. Noreen hurries me inside. No one's supposed to see me near Cato; it hasn't been quite clear what's between us. We won the Games because I defied the Capitol, nothing more, nothing less. Though I think the Capitol might think we love each other, since everything that happened inside the arena. "He's outside. Near the woods."
I glide past Cato's room. He's lucky enough to not share it with anyone. I open the door and step outside. Cato stands near a tree. "Cato!" I run towards him, wrapping my arms around him.
"Hey, Clove!" He says. He leans forward to give me a quick kiss on the lips. I don't say anything. I don't want to show that we love each other to the whole Pan

The girl from District Five interrupts my plan of catching Katniss. She runs straight for the green pack and bolts into the woods. Katniss seems to be as stunned as I am, but she runs none the less. I throw a knife at her. It skids right off her forehead, leaving a huge, bleeding wound. She tries to shoot me, but I dodge the blow and it hits my left arm. Fortunately, my right hand is the one I can throw with. I pick the arrow off and drop it on the floor, still running. I run towards the other girl at full speed. Once I'm close enough, I lounge myself at her, and we topple over. "Where's your boyfriend, District 12? Still hanging on?" I smile cruelly.
The girl answers, "He's out there now. Hunting Cato." Then she starts to call Lover Boy's name. "Peeta!" I slam my elbow against her windpipe, cutting her off. For a moment, I believe her, and my head swings from side to side, looking for her fellow District partner.
Cato's deathMore Like This
Katniss stumbles blindly behind me, the only thought in her mind to save herself. They're mutations, the creatures that are following us. There's no doubt about it. No normal animal can jump that high and can the stand on its legs like a normal human.
I lie on the side of the Cornucopia, gasping to catch my breath as I gag over the edge. I cough out, "Can they climb it?" None of them answer. A blonde mutt with silky hair takes a start and jumps onto the horn. It stays there for a while. Katniss lets out a shriek and fires into its throat. The mutt twitches and flops onto the ground with a thud. The other two tributes talk for a while, but I can't make out what they're saying. I hear Lover Boy cry out. A mutt's got him on the leg. Then I grab him once he's regained his balance.
I laugh. "Shoot me and he goes down with me." One of the last two arrows Katniss has is directed straight at my head. It's the only place the

Marvel woke me up a few hours later. The sun was rising up slowly and I was just in time to see its first rays light up the forest. It looked amazing. The others were still asleep, me and Marvel being the only ones awake. I could tell he only woke me up to show me this. I would have gotten angry, and at first I did, but then I was grateful. I had seen a lot of sunrises back in District 2, but this was different. I felt like it was real. Pure nature. I knew I was wrong, of course. But I still found it beautiful in a deadly way. And fascinating at the same time.
"What is it?" I heard Cato mumble lazily and I turned my head with confusion. I saw Glimmer, wide awake with eyes as wide as the sun itself, poking Cato next to her and pointing at the beautiful scenery. I turned my head with disgust, feeling the rage inside of me, but the warmth of the new day made it go away and I could enjoy this once again. I looked around with amazement, only to see everyt
