"Shh! There's a soldier coming," she whispered. Alex immediately stopped struggling as a shadow approached them. A soldier, decked out in a blue and white uniform, the colors of Arcana City, marched past the dark alley. Alex and Rhia crouched behind a large trash can, hoping to escape notice.
When the soldier was beyond earshot, Rhia removed her hand from Alex's mouth. "Haaaa I can finally breathe," he said, gasping for air.
Rhia replied smugly, "It's your own fault for being so oblivious. If I hadn't pulled you back, both of us would have gotten caught and been locked up in the orphanage."
"I know, I know, thanks for saving my life. All right, we have to move on now and meet up with Peter and Roy at the church gates."
"You don't sound sincere at all. Maybe I should have let you get caught and run away by myself."

Appearance: black hair, green eyes, tall, has a large scar on one arm. Usually wears long sleeves to hide it.
Personality: distant, easily angered, stubborn. Would do anything to protect those she cares about. Does not trust easily however.
History: she was just a normal girl up till she was thirteen. At that point, she discovered her ability to turn into her spirit animal, which is a black widow spider. She told her parents, hoping they'd understand, but instead they just got freaked out and kicked her out of the house out of fear. Upset about this, she went to talk to her best friend chris, only to be told by his parents he'd disappeared and the door slammed in her face. Since then, she's been cold and distant, not wanting to trust anyone for fear of getting hurt again. These days she lives on her own.
