This is one of ten pieces I did for the new Star Wars Essential Guide to Warfare. I had a blast working on it and I'm excited that I am able to contribute to the Star Wars universe.

I will be posting them in the order of sequence as it appears in the book. Hope you guys enjoy them!

An aerial panoramic view of the famous Battle of Grassy Plains in Ep 1. It was very tedious to paint hordes of Gungans and Battle Droids plus I had to make sense of the troop formations but it all turned out well in the end.

Drizzt surrounded by several enemys, another dangerous threat.LOL In this pic i wanted to show some other characters like the huge orc (my favorite) a wicht, and soldiers...and yes Guenhwyvar and Wulfgar ,but i have massive problems with my Screen. I have to change the Hardware... :( PS:I will do from some closeups of several characters like the Orc or the Wicht or Wulfgar. Concerning the armor from Drizzt,I took some time to think, about the shape, functionality and when you watch all the buckles and follow the form you will see that the Armor works.
Hope you like it...

The first one is a battle between the Lusankya of the New Republic Forces under the command of Wedge Antilles and the Reaper, commanded by Gilad Pellaeon of the Imperial Remnant. The two SSDs hammer each other while the wreckage of the fleet carrier Endurance goes down in flames.

Of the ten pieces I did for Warfare I think this is my favorite one. This scene takes place at the Battle of Kashyyyk during the Second Galactic Civil War where Galactic Alliance forces clash with Confederate forces made up of Bothans, Wookies, Hapans and the Jedi Order. The battle rages around the Anakin Solo, commanded by Jacen Solo (secretly Darth Cadeus), as she bombards the planet surface of Kashyyyk from orbit with her forward long-range turbolasers.

Other things to note in this piece is the never-before-seen Wookie Owool Interceptors making attack runs on the Anakin Solo and the Stealth X fighters flown by Jaina Solo and the Jedis in the foreground. There are also some XJ3/XJ5 X-wings flying about and for those who are wondering about the Mon Calamari Cruiser, yes, it is an MC90 class.

The Empress class carrier was the paramount of carrier designs in the core- as it was the only 'supercarrier' in existence at the time. Though the design has it's origins in Asshur, several other countries operate them, and a few construct them under license. Because of their prominence in the affairs of the core, they've become a standard by which other warships were compared. In fact, because of their size and capability they are considered to be the only core-constructed example of a mass-produced mothership design- matched only by the Vaygr starships in the deep east.

By fifteen years after the Taiidani return to Hiigara, only thirty seven of these massive starships were being operated and many of them out of the Frerrn aggregate. Some predicted that this meant the Frerrn were preparing for an eventual war with the Kushan Empire, but thsi was forestalled when the empire collapsed from within. Instead, the Frerrn launched an invasion of the core some years later with their Empresses leading battle groups.

The Frerrn themselves have a high preference for plasma technology- despite how easy plasma bombs are to shoot down by lasers, and despite the long load times and cost to utilize the weapon. They are one of the only races in the core to employ plasma weapons as heavy weapons- constructing "Plasma Mortars" to lob oversized plasma bombs into enemy targets. While it's debatable if plasma weapons are a superior choice over ions, the Frerrn continue to place plasma weapons in high reguard over other direct-energy weapons systems.

Hope you guys enjoy this piece though. Can't sell it as print unfortunately.

Another illustration done for Medieval Warfare Magazine a few months back.

This is the battle of Kutna Hora fought in a cold winter night between the Hussites, led by the famous commander, Jan Zizka, and the combined Hungarian and German coalition led by King Sigismund of Hungary (also soon to be Holy Roman Emperor). As you will notice the Hussites were a primarily infantry force based around the tactic of using war wagons as a bastion against enemy heavy cavalry assaults, a tactic Jan Zizka used to devastating effect and hence made popular among medieval armies of the European east. Here The Hungarians and Germans are caught off guard as Jan Zizka conducts an offensive push to break through the royalist forces which have surrounded his own.

You can read more about the battle here >> [link]

Its was also interesting to read about the Hussite heresy and how it came about and why the Church was adamantly against them. There was even a letter sent by Saint Jeanne d'Arc to the Hussites threatening them with extermination if they did not renounce their heresy and embrace Catholic orthodoxy. Of course in such wars there's also always a whole lot of local politics involved which drove the conflict.

Hope you guys enjoy this piece :)

And if any of you are interested you can check out the magazine here. Its a very interesting magazine if you're in to medieval history. >> [link]

Here's a rare fan art piece I did of Mrs Skywalker. She's one of the coolest female leads in the Star Wars mythos but its too bad she died in the novels.

Notice she's using Luke's original lightsaber, the one he lost when he fought Vader, which he than retrieved later on and gave it to Mara.

Hope you guys like it.

An illustration from the Dark Nova Roleplaying Game.

I decided to redo the Spartan Group assault fleet image. While it is true that most naval engagements in space take place at a range of tens- if not hundreds- of thousands of kilometers, and the original image reflected this, it just didn't have the same panache or flair without being able to see the enemies. That, and as was pointed out by one of our playtesters, most of their naval engagements were in low-to-mid orbit where maneuvering room is limited, so battles tend to get very tight. So, I added in a few of the Khurian ships that SG was kicking the batsnot out of to give a bit of balance, and frankly I like it a lot better.

Spartan Group- Unquestionably the largest, most powerful, and widespread mercenary company, Spartan Group is a Freespace-based company with extremely strong naval capabilities, potent ground forces, and substantial intelligence, special operations, support, and logistics assets. Like Eastbridge Services, Spartan Group traces its roots- at least in part- to the pre-Fall period. Triple Canopy- one of the PMCs that would later form Spartan Group proper shortly after the Fall- had been operating throughout the world since the latter part of the 20th century, making Spartan Group arguably the oldest mercenary firm in existence. Like Eastbridge, it has taken part in every major conflict, including having a pivotal role in the Andali War for Independence. Their propensity to work for any legitimate client without bias, regardless of whether or not they are a previous opponent, makes them surprisingly popular. They have yet to violate or break a contract unless the client broke it first, and this has given them a sterling reputation.
In addition to their rep, SGs capabilities have also made them the premier mercenary firm. Their naval capabilities are unmatched by any other mercenary firm, and they produce and sell warships from their shipyards in the Heliopolis system. SG is the only mercenary firm to have built and fielded battleship-class warships, though they primarily hold these powerful vessels back to defend their home systems and shipyards. They can field hundreds of vessels at a time- ranging from corvettes to battlecruisers- without compromising their existing garrison contracts, making them an extremely adaptable force. No one is certain of how many ships of each class SG has, but they have fielded a fleet of over five hundred destroyers, one hundred thirty cruisers, sixty seven battlecruisers, twelve carriers, and eight battleships in defense of the Kitai system, and intelligence reports estimate this was not even a quarter of their full fleet capacity. SG is also one of the most expensive firms to hire, and one of the hardest for an entry-level mercenary to get into. Mercs who want to join Spartan Group generally have to be in the top 10% of their field.

So here I have rather special picture. This is represents part of a moment that happens on a story, made by my pal *EagleSpartan888 who has done an amazing job at writing several stories that feature my two characters, Maya Jeda and Kyr'am'aran Jereel, and had given them a lot of character. I told him that I wanted to draw something based on his fics, and it has been on my to do list for monts, but I finally manage to do this one which I'm pretty satistified with. And fors those interested with reading said story, here's the first three chapters of this stories.
Dirty Little Secrets Part II: Dirty Little Secret

Tip of the Iceberg

Kyr'am'aran removed her mask as the lights revealed a medium sized oval room composed of twenty eight separate isolation chambers that were divided by a set of side by side automatic doors between chambers "fourteen" and "fifteen" that had a dim red light over it. Some of the windows were covered in various splatter patterns of blood and green like mucus. A number of the chamber even had smeared, bloody handprints on them. In the center of the room, there were two sets of small, circular tables that stood one right next to each other. The tables seemed to have lined up with the chamber it was
Reunion Tour Chapter III: Reunion Tour

I. Dropping In

Kyr'am'aran stood up from the holo-computer and took a deep breath after finding out the back story of Project Metamorphosis. This secret held by a band of rouge CIS battle droids lead to the creation of Project Shakoa, which ultimately led both projects to their demise. "So that's how 'Meta' failed ultimately; by the creation of Shakoa. I never would have guessed that." She paused for a moment and thought. "Still, there are a few questions that are not answered in these files: Why did they create Metamorphosis? What inspired them to create the Shakoa side project and keep it secret from

Prototype megalith currently under the control of the rogue faction 'Laughing Swarm'

01.20.7236/COMSec data entry:
The Axbet class superdreadnought is a 32 kilometer tall prototype vessel designed to employ the latest technologies Mankind has developed. Of note is its capability to transition itself and any ships docked inside to the Mirror, a non-Newtonian reality where instantaneous travel to  arbitrary points in space time is possible.
This ability, paired with its fire power, classifies this vessel as a 'Megalith', or a Class 1 super-weapon, making it the first such vessel to earn this designation.

The prototype vessel whereabouts is currently unknown.

This is one of ten pieces I did for the new Star Wars Essential Guide to Warfare. I had a blast working on it and I'm excited that I am able to contribute to the Star Wars universe.

I will be posting them in the order of sequence as it appears in the book. Hope you guys enjoy them!

This is the last piece from Warfare. The Hutts now maintain fleets of warships, shifting their philosophy of economic dominance to a more military one, ever since their Empire was almost destroyed by the Yuuzhan Vong invasions.

Everything in this is completely new and never-before-seen. I was given the honor of designing the various Hutt ships from scratch based on relatively vague descriptions from the novels. You can see 4 classes of warships in here; frigate, destroyer, transport/carrier and battle-cruiser and all of them have the distinctive red sails, which I took inspiration form Jabba's Sail Barge. Admiring his fleet is a Hutt commander and his cronies.

The fortress and shipyard world of Kuat, home of Kuat Drive Yards, the manufacturer of the dreaded Imperial Star Destroyer and its cousins. I believe this is the first ever close-up depiction of what the famous shipyard looks like. It was kinda fun to figure out where the main business of Star Destroyer construction would take place. I also made sure that its protected by a ring of formidable Golan Defense Platforms to thwart any would be invaders.

This is one of my favorite pieces from the Galactic Civil War era. This battle, which took place after the destruction of the first Death Star but before the events of Empire Strikes Back, was an elaborate ambush set by Vader and the Empire to destroy the Alliance leadership along with its fleet. Under overwhelming odds the Rebels would've fled to a designated location where they would regroup, but had they done that they would have found another Imperial fleet waiting for them. The fleet instead dispersed and made random jumps to avoid being completely annihilated. The Alliance almost lost the entire fleet from this battle but enough survived to carry on the fight and eventually make a comeback at the Battle of Endor.

This battle is recounted in the Star War comic "Rebellion: My Brother, My Enemy".
