LoK: Four Years Later7 *Preview*So far I'm not happy with the fight scenes at all.More Like This
"What happened to what we talked about Korra?" Asami angrily snapped as she sat on the steps to the Air Temple Island training ground. "I thought you were going to be nice and reconnect with Mako again, not start a fight with him." Ever since Korra's return Asami has been a frequent visitor at the island. Korra liked the company of someone else her own age with the guidance she needed, but she could do without the occasional lectures.
"Hey," Korra said as she pointed at Asami. "It wasn't my fault. Mako was the one who decided to open his big stupid mouth." Korra then faced a White Lotus she was sparing with and took her stance.
"But still, you shouldn't have snapped like you did." Asami said a last time.
"Would you just give me some credit for not punching his lights out?" Korra responded. After her response, Korra gave her opponent a slight nod.
After receiving his signal, the White Lotus guard kicked out a wave of fire straight towar

Korra raced around the rink, twirling and spinning around like the talented ice skater she was. Around her, people of every age and size skated in the spacious rink of Republic City Park. Snow surrounded them all, cold nipping at their cheeks, but no one paid it any mind they were all having too much fun, enraptured in their friends and families.
The Avatar was glad to be back in her natural element though the winters in Republic City were nowhere near as harsh at the ones in the South Pole, they were still pretty cold. And she loved it! Skating up to her Earthbending friend, she did a circle around the leisurely skating Bolin.
"Hey," she said, skating in tow with him then. "Don't you just love skating?"
"Definitely," he nodded at her, "we should do this more often I forgot how much fun it is, considering this is the first time I've gone in years. I'm surprised I still remember how, actually."
She laughed, and took his hand and spun them around then, ca

Mako wasn't one to complain, though. After all the time he and Bolin had spent on the streets, he'd come to cherish the heat. A lot of his memory of those years had faded away, but some impressions were sharp. Smells, feelings. He remembered those hard winters they had spent, the two of them cuddling together at night underneath their bridge in the park to get out of the wind as much as they could. Countless nights Bolin would doze off with his head on Mako's shoulder, his teeth chattering so loudly that Mako couldn't sleep.
Awake and on edge, he would stoke the fire with his bending, eyes wary of any shadows.
He spent his time thinking of summer. Of not feeling cold, not feeling scared. Of the food carts rolling around in the streets that he could steal from. Of the bright green leaves and hot sun blazing overhead. Of the warm river that he and Bolin would swim in, the fish nipping at their toes. Of the flowers blooming all through the pa

Mako was trying his damnedest to not pay attention to the perverted leader of the Wolfbats leering at Korra, but he just couldn't. Every few practice punches he threw, he was looking over his shoulder and observing the scene with an obvious glint in his amber irises. Tahno was standing off to the side of the training room with the rest of his group, sending Korra hungry looks as he watched her spar with Bolin, however, she didn't seem to notice, or she was just ignoring him. It was sick, and it was annoying the Firebender to no end for more than one reason than the fact that it was completely inappropriate. He hated that Tahno's mind was racing with such thoughts about his girl or who he considered his girl about Korra.
Though Mako had tried to deny it to himself on several occasions, he felt quite strongly about the Avatar. At first, she had irritated him endlessly, but after they went to rescue him brother together, they began to get along better, and f
