1 year in and some things I've learnedWell I have been drawing consistently for 1 year. I have improved a great deal but am still no where near my end goal. I am still working on it and understand it's a marathon and I am getting there 1 step at a time. In this last year I have learned a lot of things, some of which I am gonna pass on to anyone reading this that is just starting out.More Like This
It really doesn't matter which one you are using, a wooden #2 is really all you need. A mechanical can be nice starting if you really want that sharp point but after a while you realize a sharp point is not always what you want. A clutch is cool too but it's really just a wooden pencil without the wood. I mostly use my clutch, well just because I bought it but there are plenty of greats on youtube and else where that just use a good old wooden #2
You're just starting, do you really need a box full of 2h's-8b's? No, no you don't. Why would you? You haven't learned anything yet and a simple #2 HB is really all you need. Us
