Sketchbooks and a canvas[it's summer for me, yay!]More Like This
So I'm attempting to share a piece a day from my sketchbook c:
[some new, some old] As an attempt to stay active over the summer.
My last 5 pieces submitted were all from my current sketchbook. ^^
Also I'm working on a giant canvas painting! [2x3 feet]
First time working on a canvas EVER. c: [they're expensive ;~;]
I got this canvas from my lit teacher this year. It was pretty beat up
and had some small holes& stains bbbut I gesso'ed it. [gesso is basically a white paint coat.]
I worked on getting the flat colors out at school [because my supply of acrylic is limited at home]
& now I'm working on the details at home, now that schools over.
It's going to take a lonnnng time. I've already been working on it for a good 12+ hours.
There's a whole lot of detail in the concept but I can't wait to share it once it's done!
[I'll also be working on more portfolio pieces when I'm done with this that I'll share too! c:]
