Common abrahamic excuses that hold little water
"God gaves us free will, ergo it's pur own fault": Except that the Bible nor the Qu'ran put emphasis on free will. Hell, this excuse is so very recent, that, until a few centuries ago, the idea that God had absolute control over our lives was very popular.
"Its our fault; Adam and Eve's sin created evil, not God!": If you have read Genesis, you'll know this is bullshit (Hell, even Yahweh admits he created evil!). Likewise, at no point is the first sin ever considered a "Pandora's Box" situation.
"God is goodness incarnate! Evil is against his nature!":...have you even read the Bible? Yahweh is also considered to not be goodness incarnate until the NT and Qu'ran; in the OT, he is treated as a Lawful Neutral agent.
"Your're putting everything out of context!": Considering I actually bother to read the Bible/Qu'ran, while you only cherry pick passages your pastor dictates...
"He died for your sins! You should be grateful!":
1- His sacrifice was pointless, He only rescued saints from Sheol

God tempts AbrahamI haven't written anything in a while, so I decide to do an article about Abraham. I think you all know the story, but I would like to give my thoughts on it.More Like This
Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, "Abraham!"
"Here I am," he replied.
Then God said, "Take your son, your only son, whom you loveIsaacand go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you."(Genesis 22:1-2)
Abraham's reaction to this probably happened off screen, but I wonder what he was thinking at that point. I mean, God, who's supposed to be benevolent, just told him to MURDER his own son. Why would he command him to sacrifice any human being to him, let alone his son?And couldn't Abraham just kill Isaac in his sleep? That way, he would've been done with the whole thing, and it didn't have to become so dramatic.
So the next morning, Abraham and Isaac go to the mountain with the wood for the burned offering. Abraham tells his servants that they're goin
But of courseFundamentalists are so laughably predictable. When a natural disaster comes, you can always count on hearing them blame it on homosexuals or liberals or some "sin". And then you can always count on some others saying something to the effect of "not all of us are like that...but homosexuality is a sin". You can always count on religious people to back up other religious people, the lack of real accountability is really quite sad. And since this election is (finally) about to end, you can count on who the fundamentalists will vote for (despite calling that candidate's religion false, whether Romney's Mormonism or Santorum's Catholicism), and if their candidate loses then you can count on the cries of apocalyptic rage and fear. For the past 2000 years, as horrible or excellent leaders have taken the reins of some government Christians have been screaming about something and promising the very near end of the world. "Um, I guess?"
"Come over hear and lets talk then. I know how scary it can be." Laura cautiously followed the lady to a back room, as the lady called something, causing a smaller version of the lady came in to be told to go up front.

It was a day like any other, and I was just surfing DeviantArt, browsing the many deviations in my inbox. While I did so, my eye wandered to something that was called an 'tutorial on manga anatomy'. As usual, I was curious about the content. And as the preview image was pretty small, I wanted to check this out. It seems like this girl, let's name her Abbey (it's not her real name, but I think calling her 'that girl' is so damn confusing) had made a tutorial on male manga anatomy. Nothing wrong with that, you'd say. But I've been following Abbey for a while already. I originally met her in the forums, asking for feedback on one of her fanart drawings. Mostly anatomy related stuff. I gave her some tips. We talked a bit. And I followed her soon after, as I thought her art looked pretty promising altogether.
Now, I didn't know Abbey in real life. But she was a beginning artist, nowhere towards a level

PE: Importance of AnatomyThe importance of anatomy.More Like This
Understanding anatomy is crucial to many aspects of your art.
You'll notice that anatomy is essential for drawing. It becomes difficult to accurately draw a complex pose, or even a simple one, if you don't understand what's under all that skin or fur, or even bark. Knowing how everything fits together is important.
Once you notice where that certain muscle is, shading and form become much more accurate and more natural. Knowing why the nose and eyes fall where they do make it much easier to draw from memory, and nail that natural look you were going for.
Learning the anatomy of the subject you're going to draw is quite important, and will definitely help you on several levels.
It's also easier to drawing sequences of movement. One will know what connects to what, and how they move. What is possible, and what isn't. (Range of motion)
Drawing people and other animals can be intimidating. Once you have a solid foundation, it's much easier

I would like to do some exploration of that.
First, let’s talk about what is said in the Old Testament.
A student essay I’ve read revealed that a verse in Levitcus, one most often cited, was mistransliterated to mean to be against homosexuality, when it was originally against sleeping with your partner for reasons other than sex;
The National Gay Pentecostal Alliance (NGPA) has analyzed the Leviticus verse in great detail to produce a word-for-word translation of the original Hebrew. In English, with minimal punctuation added, they rendered it as: “And with a male thou shalt not lie down in beds of a woman; it is an abomi
