Thursday, Day 1 of Comic-ConThursday was the first full day of Comic-Con, and artists, cosplayers, and fans (oh, my!) strapped on their most comfortable Con Shoes and continued rocking out in San Diego. It was also the day of deviantART's first panel, "How-To: Motion Books," which was so inspiring, audience members nearly had to be physically removed from the premises because the conversations ended long after they took the microphones away.More Like This
Sitting on the panel were spyed and techgnotic from deviantART, BenWolstenholme, LiamSharp, and nunyerbidniss from Madefire, and davegibbons, perhaps best-known for his collaboration with Alan Moore on "Watchmen." The topic was an explanation of the recent partnership of Madefire and deviantART -- who met at Comic-Con j
I Don't Want To Say I Love YouI don't want to say "I love you",More Like This
Because my words will make it real
Make my love for you actual
Palpable and ,worst of all, breakable.
My love would manifest itself
Like a sheet of glass between us
That you could shatter with
The slightest touch.
I don't want to say "I love you",
Because those words don't show
The truth to you
They don't show how important
You truly are to me
That I want to wake up every day
And fall asleep every night
With you by my side .
I don't want to say "I love you",
Because you might return
the same words to me.
And we would love together
Our hearts growing as one
But tragedy might strike
And you might be taken from me
Leaving me with half a heart
And no one say those three words to.
I don't want to say "I love you"
Because I do
I love you more than life itself
And that scares me.
But I'll say it
Because no matter how large my fears
Or small my worries
I want you to know
That "I love you".
dA Guide: Text FormattingMore Like This
Please PAY ATTENTION to where the codes WILL and WILL NOT work! (Certain codes do not work in comments and deviation descriptions, no matter how hard you try.) :'D
Try NOT to copy/paste the codes, manually type them out yourself. (Copy/paste messes up some of the codes lately thanks to dA). :C
This is just a simple html guide to formatting text on dA (and other sites as well). My goal was just to compile some html info into a simple, easy to understand guide for quick reference. :) Please let me know if the codes don't show up because sometimes they disappear when dA updates certain things.
This guide goes a little above and beyond dA's FAQ entry (although I purposely left out anything to do with links, because they don't work on literature submissions). I also provided working examples, which might make the codes a little easier to understand. (Keep

In Recognition of Exemplary Membership and an Outstanding Spirit of helpfulness and mentoring within the DeviantArt community.
“It is such a big honour for me to be part of DeviantArt and now being this month’s Deviousness award winner. I am Hellobaby, a self-taught artist, who loves drawing. My main tools are pencil & colour pencils and while I didn’t go to art school, drawing is my passion. It’s hard to believe that I joined DeviantArt 10 years ago! When I first joined, I was so confused and didn’t know how to use DeviantArt, so after I created the account, I left it. About 5 months later, I came back and started to share my work. My first work was not even a drawing, it was a photo . Then, I enjoyed finding new, amazing artists and was awed
