This is Action Mohammed, the Super-Prophet of the Muslim faith. Given that images of him are frowned upon to prevent Muslims from worshiping the man instead of the teachings (way to go on that), the irreverence of a comic book cover ought to dissuade any such inclined people from throwing away their torah and bowing in the direction of my art instead.
Also, I spelled "conquer" wrong. I am ashamed. Nick Perks has been doing fan art for The Line It Is Drawn for 100 straight weeks. This is my 9th week.
These suckers are poisonous. One bite, and you're in for days of pain. And while you wander around, getting weaker, your wound festers, and komodo dragons all around can smell it. They follow you. Patiently. Until you fall. Picking your skeleton clean should take it no more than a few hours.
Mehitabel the Alley Cat, from Don Marquis's series of Archy and Mehitabel poems. I tried to make the stripes on her dress look kinda like the frills on those flapper dresses in the 20s (since that's when the poems were written), and the one stripe on her leg looks a little like a garter.
If anyone can point me to a direction where I can buy/download the movie "SHINBONE ALLEY" from 1971, you'll win all my internets. I'll draw you pictures. ANYTHING!
When I was a kid I used to watch this movie several times, and I remember attempting to draw Mehitabel (with little success). I mostly forgot about it as I grew up, but some images still remained in my memory. A few days ago I decided that I wouldn't rest until I'd find out what the movie was called, as I couldn't remember even that.
Today, I found it! Glee! Now I just want to see it again. I've searched the net, but no help. Anyone?
Half an hour with pen and PhotoShop. Just because I wanted to see if I can finally draw her.
Oh yeah. She reminds me SO MUCH of Seras from Hellsing... X)
EDIT 30.5.2007: I GOT IT! And I recommend this movie, the animation is wonderful, the music brilliant, and Carol Channing's voice is just amazing. Woo!
I'm a huge fan of Batman and the Batman animated series, but I'm also an 80's kid so I grew up with tons of great cartoons. One of them was Muppet Babies. So I did another mash up. This will be up for sale in the store tomorrow.
It's been a long day. Children are evil... sigh. but i did get to finish my drawing today. threw down some color for accenting but not sure if it's needed or not. it's getting better the more we try. yay!
This is the template for the Ebon Hawk model. (13MB download)
The template is composed of 19 pages; a cover sheet and a page with the optional landing gear with struts do not need to be printed if you are not inclined. Remember that you can just make the 'feet' and glue them in a stowed position or, if you wish, simply don't make them at all. The model is identical to the in-game model with only a tiny number of alterations to make it easier to build. I labelled the parts as clearly as I could but you'll need the associated instructions to build this and it wouldn't hurt to take a good look at images of the ship in-game (or at the actual mesh if you can acquire it, I cannot add it as it is not my property, though I can tell you that it's extractable from the game). Instructions will be added as soon as I can.
I would like to thank the Anonymous person who extracted the model and mesh and converted them into a format I could use, this model could not have been created without your efforts.
UPDATE: I noticed that more than a few people have been kind enough to post news of the model on their blogs/sites. If it is not too much trouble would you mind ensuring that people understand that the model and all updates can be found here, I think a lot of people have downloaded without understanding that the instructions are being continually worked on and uploaded in chunks.
