The complexity of body/face paintFirst, I have to thank GeekGirls http://geekxgirls.com/article.php?ID=702 for featuring another one of my shoots, and for standing up for the cosplayer for costume malfunctions. The shoot they posted is actually a combo of 2 photo shoots during a time period where body paint was NOT my friend. The first time my face was melting. Literally. Despite all of the powder and setting, it just would not stay on. I was out of the make-up after about 3 hours of wear, and without any backup clothes with me and bumming a ride from a friend, I couldn't leave and change. So I dealt with it. I may not have had as many photos taken, but a lot of people appreciated the work and detail I had placed into the costume.More Like This
