My shot at a Nadia theme, made and tested in Nadia. Comes in a light and in a dark version. I'll probably do a Gnome Shell version as well when I get around to it.

What's going on?

I've written a blog post on replacing status bars with tmux to display useful information in the shell, give it a read if you fancy it :)

This theme kinda evolved when I was playing with the new Conky features. You'll need an up to date Conky so please be sure to check the readme.

Install
Untar the conky_NightDrive.tar into your home folder.
Go to ~/.conky/NightDrive/ and follow the README.txt

This is a simple KSplash screen I made earlier this year to compliment the TrueNature KDM theme at kde-look.org. I thought that the splashscreen the author made didn\'t quite fit, so I decided to make my own that blended a little better.

I take no credit for any of the graphics, just the idea to put them together like this :p

I love to play with my desktop setup so i decided to share one more theme suite with you ppl ...

CathexiS is simple, minimal, distraction free foundation for building your desktop experience. It's dark theme which will stay in background while you work but in a same time it can be really attractive when you want to show your desktop around ... Your Openbox desktop can look really nice with this suite ...

Check CathexiS Suite in action -> Here

CathexiS contains : GTK2, GTK3, Openbox, Conky and tint2 themes + custom wallpaper 1920x1200px and Coda font.

For GTK2 theme you'll need murrine gtk engine installed and for GTK3 theme unico engine is required.

tint2 theme file should be copied to /yourusername/.conf/tint2/ and then restart tint2 to load new look ...

For conky simply replace your old .conkyrc file with new ...

Coda font should be copied in /yourusername/.fonts/ folder then run command from terminal to update font cache > sudo fc-cache -f -v

Icons I use with CathexiS Suite Awoken Icons by alecieve

Fonts : Coda

6/10/12 >> Updated Openbox theme, conky theme, tint2 theme, added new font Coda

Firefox looks quite ugly with elementary(ish) Gtk theme. So two kind gentleman, zeeeeee and loklaan, made this awesome theme: [link] it's "elementary Firefox" theme and it looks very good with elementary and my elementaryish theme - first screenshot.

Unfortunately it doesn't work well with elementaryish dark version - because of dark menus in gtk theme and white in firefox - but in both there are white fonts :-/

So i've made a little Firefox Persona Theme - second screenshot. It's much more simple than "elementary Firefox", but it works well with both my themes. It will be available here: [link] but it's waiting for Firefox approval.

Today i saw this amazing wallpaper and i began to rearrange my wip theme in a way ( in my humble opinion) that fits the best to it . What do you think? Do you like/dislike these changes i made since my previous screenshot?

Details :

- O.s. Chakra Linux ( kde 4.9 ) with Be::Shell
- Win style: bespin
- Win deco: bespin

Fixed stuff :

- Minimized tasks are now highlighted.
- Don't bind be.shell to bespin anymore.
- I fixed the color of the meters. *
- I've Cut my hairs - sexier than ever.

Things that make me proud ( ... ) :

- A global menu that mimes gnome 2 classic menu - now with icons . **
- Finally i beat my laziness and made a doubled screenshot !!
- I can read what's happening on screen, even though i'm using very tiny fonts.

Things that need to be fixed :

- Change font for taskbar?
- Again awake at 4 am . ***
- Everything.

* If you downloaded my previous theme you should have noticed the issue with them
** Finally, i read the wiki part that explains it can be done...****
*** Insomnia - here is hoooooot !!!

**** yeeh :typerhappy:

Boomerang - GTK3

'Boomerang' (Version 5.0) is a Linux desktop theme available for GNOME desktop environment. It is compatible with the latest GTK 3.4 and supports Gnome Classic Fallback, Gnome Shell, Unity and XFCE. It is included with two different flavours.

It is recommended for you to use this GTK theme with the Faience Azur icon theme.

This theme is licensed under GNU General Public License version 3.

Theme Requirements

You will NEED the following packages to use this theme:

- Unico GTK3 engine
- Murrine GTK2 engine 0.98.1.1 or later
- Pixbuf GTK2 engine or the gtk(2)-engines package

Unico GTK3, Murrine and Pixbuf GTK2 engine installation instructions

The Unico GTK3 and Murrine GTK2 engine IS INSTALLED BY DEFAULT IN UBUNTU. So Ubuntu users JUST NEED TO INSTALL the Pixbuf GTK2 engine. To install it, open terminal and paste this command:

sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-pixbuf

Unico GTK3 engine:

You can grab the Unico GTK3 engine package from here:
[link]

Murrine and Pixbuf GTK2 engine:

ArchLinux:

pacman -S gtk-engine-murrine gtk-engines

Debian-based/Mint/Ubuntu-based distros:

sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-murrine gtk2-engines-pixbuf

Fedora/RedHat distros:

yum install gtk-murrine-engine gtk2-engines

Other distro:

Search for the engines in your distribution's repository or install the engines from source.

Theme Installation

Extract the Boomerang/Boomerang-Deux.tar.gz files to the themes directory:

"~/.themes/" or "/usr/share/themes"

Use gnome-tweak-tool a.k.a Advanced Settings to select the GTK and metacity themes.

Please read the included INSTALL file for more information.

Known Issue(s)

'Shade' and 'Stick' functionality for xfwm4 are available with this theme but the buttons are invisible. Click on the specific places on the window title to use it. You may need to use your intuition and psychic ability to spot those invisible buttons. Lulz!

New theme! NOW it works in 3.2

This is my new theme, its elementary shell theme inspired.

has a few cool features you might like.

-the ability to change the background of the overview to whatever you like (been wanting that for a while...) theres a screen shot on gnome-look.org using a different overview background to give an idea, so if you dont like the purply-blue gradient by default. get creative!

-slimmer panels (top)

- matching bottom panel

- and various tweaks, mods, new bits and what not that you can pick up on.

To install simply extract the file to your .themes folder in your home folder and set using gnome tweak tool.

To change the overview background simply open "True Elements" folder in your .themes folder. There is a file called overview background.jpeg, replace that with whatever you want as long as its called "overview background.jpeg".

Tell me how it goes for you!!

-updates

-Fixed crashing on search

-added transparency to the notification panel as sometimes things became hidden behind it and gave it a blue "kdeish" glow

-fixed fonts so they are easier to read

The wallpaper is available at
[link]
I made it to fit the theme

UPDATE!!!!
fixed overview background image a little. (remember you can change it!!)

-Fixed some fonts (colours)

-Background in screen shot is one of my own available at [link]

-Enjoy!
