Why artists get so pissed off --"Why do you artists always get so pissed off when someone uses your artwork? You should take it as a compliment!"More Like This
"You should take it as a Compliment --"
A compliment would be admiring an artist's work where they post it, and if you really want to use it that badly, complimenting them would be you having enough respect for them to ask first.
Most of us don't get mad because you use it, it's because you use it without asking or pretend you didn't know who/where it came from when there's a link to where you can find the original artist on the image.
Taking someone's car to crash it in a derby isn't a compliment to them any more than taking someone's art to wreck it or claim it is a compliment. More so without asking.
"What about realism artists?! They copy from photographs all the time, no originality there but you don't yell at them for copying photos! What makes

Steven is attached as colourist to the three part story 'Voodoo Planet', which starts in this week's edition of 2000AD.
The strip is written by Guy Adams, illustrated by P.J. Holden and lettered by Simon Bowland.
We at Multiverse would like to congratulate Steven on this awesome achievement - and hope it'll be the first of many.
BILL HAS GONE AND DONE IT AGAIN...**stands and applauds** Thank You Bill! Just one more reason why I love Bill Cosby - He has always told us exactly how it is and he doesn't beat around the bush mincing words or trying to spare our feelings.More Like This
BILL HAS GONE AND DONE IT AGAIN...
They're standing on the corner and they can't speak English.
I can't even talk the way these people talk:
Why you ain't,
Where you is,
What he drive,
Where he stay,
Where he work,
Who you be...
And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk.
And then I heard the father talk.
Everybody knows it's important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can't be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth.
In fact you will never get any kind of job making a decent living.
People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an Education, and now we've got these knuckleheads walking around.
The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal.
These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kid
Tired of being the whipping boyEven though I am a girl it still applies. A "whipping boy" is an old term used to describe one poor child that took the punishment for anything that went wrong. There is a 'friend' in my life that treats me this way whenever she has a drop in sugar from not eating. Problem is she won't get help for it. She likes to start arguments and takes it out on me and gets very verbally abusive. So why don't I walk away from the friendship? I wish I knew. The last time someone was like this to me was my father as I was growing up-only his wasn't diabetic induced. He was plain old abusive- I guess it tends to stay with you even when you think it's gone. No I don't deserve to be treated cruelly. Yes it is abusive and no I don't know why I stick around. Things will be ok for a month or so but- then it happens again. Never physical since there has been a few times that she has lashed out at me so bad I got angry and lashed back- raised my hand and she flinched. We are not dating- I am straight.More Like This
