I miss writing, and I miss time. My whole summer has been a race against time, sometimes it's a losing battle. There have been nights of which I've cried, others where my mom had, others where my dad had. Both of them are stronger than I'll ever be.
I'm seventeen years old, this Saturday eighteen. Last year I had not a clue of what to do with my life. Although I've had the great honor of being nominated for the Oregon Music Ambassador tour, today I found out that the Europe trip next year ain't happening for me; with all the hidden fees and such, the amount totals to nearly seven grand that we can't possibly come up with, and for seven thousand dollars, my family could come up with seven thousand better alternative ways to spend the money. I'm not upset over this however, because last night was one of the best of my life and one that I didn't even think would be so grand; prom night.
I woke up yesterday morning at about eight in the morning in my excitement for the night to come. At noon, we went to the mall for an appointment that my grandma was sweet enou
