As some of you already know, I got a contract to design a horror movie poster! I am very happy about it.
Also we've just finished our entry for the first round of the Battlefield Manipulation contest, in which I am teamed with the very talended AbbeyMarie. Have a look at our work here http://fav.me/d7agz3v.
And finally, check out my new dark work!
Now time for a feature, enjoy!

New dawn risingIt has taken me longer than I expected on this new journey of discovery. Producing my own work has been more challenging than I originally thought, but worth it personally. It’s undoubtedly the best way broaden the amount of people I can share my work with. Also having a reason for learning new about a whole new craft is refreshing, It’s been a really long time since I just threw myself to the wolves and did a sink or swim challenge. But the thing I wasn’t expecting was how attached to this piece I have become, I have an affinity to everything I make. But this one is truly dear to me, like ones favorite child or the feeling you get when they’ve accomplished something personally epic. I really fail horribly at expressing how I feel about this piece and the attachment I’ve come to have with it.More Like This

Isolating Structures In MB3DHow to clean up your image background ~More Like This
Wow. I haven't done a journal in ages. I thought I would share a little trick for getting a nice clean background when you want to isolate a structure in Mandelbulb 3D. Why? Because sometimes the structures behind the main focus of your image or the main structure are either just small repeats of the main structure, or they are fragmented and in one way or another just not as interesting. Or the background might bury the foreground object in detail or draw attention away from what you really want the viewer to focus on. People strive for a lot of detail, and that's fine, and sometimes it works. But often I find that there's no main focus to frame your point of view. (Edit: I forgot to mention this is made using Mandelbulb 3D version 1.8.2 and I fixed a few typo's!)
Sometimes you're able to focus on the foreground structure through clever use of fog, lights and depth of field settings. Nothing wrong with that either, so this is just another
