Yay, i started using watercolors. I hadn't really touched watercolours in years until now xD;;. a little rusty but still just as fun as I remembered. I think I took off most of my old watercolours off dA though .
I haven't really been using dA, but it seems like people still occasionally come here so I'm going to try to keep uploading some of my favorites. this painting is part of a series I'm doing depicting different kinds of tea.
I couldn't resist to not to make this one ;D ...a fair simple interactive flash idea ( I had a problem figuring out on how to make a different set of frames to play... figured it intuitively out somehow ).
This is my pet sugar glider Jinx. He is a year and five months old as of July 9th. Took a while to get this shot. Sugar gliders are considered exotic pets. I also have another female one named Jade i adopted from someone who got her abandoned on her doorstep. She doesn't trust humans yet but she at least has Jinx. These are awesome pets but require a ton of research and knowledge before owning.
They are native from parts of northern Australia and the surrounding islands. They are nocturnal. In the wild they eat tree sap and insects but domesticated they have a variety of diets. I feed mine a protein mix of eggs, honey, bee pollen, and wombaroo protein powder mixed together called HPW. I also feed them vegetables and fruit each night. The reason why i got them is they bond to their owners. I can have him sleep on me during the day and he loves attention and comes running to me as soon as i open his cage.
They have little claws so they run all over you and they have little flaps like flying squirrels so they can glide (Hence the name) They also make all sorts of noises from hissing, barking, and crabbing. The only way you'd understand is a youtube video. I enjoyed sharing him with you, thanks for reading.
I really like inventing new planets. It's a lot of fun. This one started out as an image I suddenly had involving a sad ram monster thing looking longingly into an empty landscape. I decided very quickly that it's perfect to replace that huge mistake of mine... that land of chasm and balloons. This is much better. I did not like that other one. This is going to replace to home planet of Prayma Erufet... who will probably get a make-over himself. I like his name, but pretty much everything else is going to get changed.
So LOSAW is inhabited by very few being aside form the imps and whatnot. It's an empty, arid, inhabitable place where the few things that do live their wander in search of something. Maybe they're looking for water... a home... maybe a lost friend? Every night it rains down a new layer of ash, blanketing the land in a new layer of lost hope. No trails to follow, to trace of where you've been. Completely lost again... wandering. The sun never sets in LOSAW. The only indication of time is when the soot falls.
Between realism and cartoon again, trying hard on this special, for me, technique... I am self taught, if anyone wants to give some advice to me, or show me the right way to work things out on this, please feel free to e mail me...
