I crossed the room and sat down in front of him, but far enough away so that he wouldn't think I was going to attack him.
“Just to warn you.” I said, “The spell I'm using is restoration. You've lost a lot of blood, and I'm going to heal you. Okay?” Cicero looked at me suspiciously. “Trust me.”
Eventually, he nodded. I healed him, and he sighed in pleasure. I continued to heal him, until he managed to sit up. He stared at me for a couple of minutes, while I rummaged through my bag, and handed him a potion of minor healing and a sweetroll. Cicero looked at me, raising his eyebrows.
