Science walker. I envisioned some kind of research walking vehicle that gathers samples from alien worlds.

Edit: I added 2 small extensible arms so it can pick up and maneuver smaller objects. :)

Fighter Craft
:iconfiraxin:

3D render of a Star Wars Sienar Fighter, featuring four traditional solar panels, two prototype panels and a single thrust engine.

The main idea behind this ship is to have a very capable fighter that could stand up against a number of enemy fighters, sporting a large amount of energy banks (used for shields and laser fire) and engine that makes it possible to keep up pace with every fighter. Large experimental wings collect electromagnetic energy and make the ship virtually limitless in terms of operating range and energy availability.

[edit1] I changed the main file for a better one, hope it doesn't get compressed as much as it did before.

Hello everyone. We where supossed to detail our previous week's thumbnail in James Paick's environment design class. This is my finished piece.
It's your typical sci fi story. A poor district in a huge city!

I hope you guys like it.

Another "what-if" in the 1946 skies above Europe. A pair of P-58 Stallions harass a trio of Ho229's heading towards Allied targets. Their Me262 escort responds (too late) and tried to get a bead on the escaping aircraft.

A fairly simple tribute to the Command & Conquer series of games as well as a re-imagining of broader narratives present in the 1995 debut production known to fans as 'Tiberian Dawn'; this painting reframes that fiction in a more serious tone for the consideration of real-world issues surrounding warfare and defence.

Weather was Horendous with low cloud ceiling solid at 2000 AGL , visibility at 3 mi., winds out of th N.E. at 20 gusting to 35 a real shitty day for an air show from a spectator's point of view, however most of the demo aircraft did manage to fly their performances.

Ever since I started work on the Graphic Novel series Telikos Protocol I realised just how prominently spheres feature in Sci-Fi, it's something about their shape and form that conjure up mystery and intrigue.
Anyway I decided to illustrate this in a less than mature way. :)
If you can think of any others feel free to shout them out :ahoy:

Milieu: Axis universe

The AH-782A is a single pilot operated mid-tech attack helicopter specialising in the "mech hunting" role. It's main weapon is a 5cm. rotary cannon( some models replace this with HELs or plasers) and the craft has four hardpoints for missiles, rockets, gunpods, or dispensers. It can also perform a forward observer role and designate targets for other aircraft or artillery with either it's mast or front mounted sensor/aiming systems. . Used in places or by governments that cannot support or afford G-coil equipment. This does not diminish it's lethality and is in some cases perfered over a G-coil vehicle due to it's low energy signature and ease of maintainace.

Design notes: The idea was to come up with a Mech/Tank hunting helicopter, and with the ol' Russian "Hind" and the JGSDF attack helios from "Ghost in the Shell" as clear influances. This beast would do pretty well in the Battletech verse I think. The background is a bit of a cowboy job, but it will do until I get a better one worked out.

From practicing with mountain landscapes turns into aerospace ship scene, I don't really know where it's come from. :D All I can say is, Its really confusing and also time consuming because I'm very bad at doing landscapes. Well.. hope you like this final result, critics & comments is always welcome. :)

AMX-12 Super Sphere with HELIPCA-------------
HELIPCA, stands for Heavy Laser Ion Polarized Cannon. Carried by very high altitude atmospheric aerospace ship The Super Sphere. This long range high intensity laser can blast any ground target around earth horizon within radius of 400km (maximum) in a matter of second. HELIPCA is also used to intercept fast moving objects such as ballistic missiles, airplanes, even space debris directed by radars and satellite pinpoints. Super Sphere was originally designed because of the atmospheric capability it has. Stored inside the ship's body when in flight mode, around a distance of 30 -80 km one powerful shot of HELIPCA can penetrate 20 storey building from top to bottom almost in an instant.

At least I'm refreshed trying to avoid designing mech, Don't know if I can do this kind of stuff again. Anyway, thanks for looking! :)

Any real man would have own an aircraft book when they were a boy that included those beautiful airbrushed side profiles of fighters and bombers. My fatherís got a great print hanging in the family home of a Harrier Jump Jet in that exact style which inspired me to do some spaceships in that same style.

So here's a Pelican from the video game series 'Halo' that I've tarted up a bit using some decals and marking you might see on a conventional aircraft.

There's more to come in a similar series that may include (but is not limited to): Mk2 colonial Viper from BSG, A Jedi Fighter from Starwars, the Planet Express ship from Futurerama, a Thunderhawk from WH40k and the SR2 Normandy from Mass Effect. So watch this space.

Photoshop CS5.5. Halo and all associated designs, names, trademarks remain property of Microsoft, Bungie or 343 Industries, so on and so forth (just use ya common sense).

Just a design I'd come up with awhile ago to go along as a support craft for the USS Venerator. I had wanted to make it a multi-role vehicle that can function as a trans-orbital ferry just as easily as an offensive or defensive combat support vehicle.

3 months since my last submission, sorry for being so quiet lately. I've been working on my art book since November so my attention was focused there. Now I need to resume freelance work as my book funding is running out, gotta pay those bills. So, you'll finally see me resume regular art submission to DA, lots of commission work on the way.

This is a commission for :iconalpha-dilophosaurus: Alpha-Dilophosaurus
