He had a hard time believing it, he’d apparently regenerated young, and boy-band cute. Twice.
“Am I having a midlife crisis?”
He couldn’t believe how they reacted when he stepped forward. How could they be him, and yet have the instinct to draw a gun? Even after centuries of war he still disliked pointing guns at people. What had happened to him?
Was this what the Moment interface was talking about, what he would turn into?
Insecure, prone to meeting fear with violence? Surely not.
“The shoes bring the cool!” his pinstripey self said. “You wouldn’t understand the cool.”

I can safely say that I did not enjoy Quantum of Solace and went to this movie with mixed feelings, despite hearing so many good things about it. I was all the more thrilled when the movie kicked off with a bang: Bond in the middle of a job, with spectacular action scenes that were actually comprehensible. Unlike QoS, we actually saw who hit what, who shot, who got hit and most importantly where the hell they went. We didn't have a million cuts per second and a camera that shook as if we were experiencing an earthquake. Although the cuts were still faster than I'd liked, they contributed to the action rather than messing it up. By the time the title song piped up, I was really enjoying myself.
The song itself I'd heard before, of course, and it didn't loose any of its power. This is probably going to be my favorite 007-song. I like how the Bond-theme got incorporated into the song and how it moves from a soft, quiet piano to a full orchestra. At first I asked myse
