Feast: Chapter 2: EnduranceI was limping, and every step felt like having a large needle stabbed into my leg. I didn't know where I was going; I just felt the need to move away from the corpse that was unrecognizable thanks to me. I was in shock, tears burning my face, I was hyperventilating, my heart wanted to explode, I wanted to dig a hole in the middle of the ground and hide in there forever, but instead I stopped, bent over and breathed. What have I done? You killed someone; you took that piece of wood and ended his life. But it wasn't itself anymore, it was, a monster. I needed to get myself together; I took in deep breaths, slow and big. Pony-Ville was deserted, there was no-one anywhere, alive or not. A certain emotion swept, over me, a strange sort of depression, the cause being that I couldn't do anything or go anywhere, I was lost. Chapter 1: Outbreak
The key fell for what could possibly be the 20th time in five minutes. I wanted to scream my lungs out but managed to restrain myself, mainly because it was mid-day and almost every pony alive was awake. It was a bright and sunny day, like almost every day in Equestria. The trees were bright green, the wind passed by gently and no one seemed to have a care in the world, well at least not anyone human. The keys fell again, this time I swore under my breath. The reason I was dropping my keys so much was because I was using every available body part to hold the groceries I had just purchased. Finally, after what felt like hours of struggling, I got the key in the lock and opened the door. One of the many small mysteries about this place is how a pony, who has no hands or fingers, manages to get a key into a lock and open a door.
I shrugged the thought off, making a mental note to reflect on it later. I stored all the groceries in their rightful place
