Taking back what I announced + Tagged~Hey everyone!More Like This
I know, in my last journal I said something about writing a new journal every month now... I'm taking it back, I'll just update this whenever I feel like it x'D
Last week my whole class was away on sports week in Croatia... I wasn't allowed to go because of my knee (which I hurt for the second time last winter, had a surgery back in January, coughcough =w. They all had a lot of fun... and I had nothing to do last week xD Sitting around and playing computer games is nice too. Even though it's no use crying over spilt milk, I still wish I could've come along...
Anyways, moving on to :iconlittlebluelens:'s tag~

The European Parliament - Why Should I CareMore Like This
The European Parliament
Why should I care?
"Yes, why should I?" - that's what I was wondering about not so long ago. I simply did not care about the European Parliament or, to be more specific, the European Union. As an Austrian I just took being European for granted, being part of the union itself, for granted. I never thought about what that meant though, for me all this "political mumbo-jumbo" seemed so far away, almost unreachable.
It also seemed to me like all political issues the European Parliament was dealing with with more important issues than the "first-world problems" some Austrians might have.

Big SurpriseHello everybody!More Like This
It's been quite a while since I've been active on DeviantArt but I'm back now - I'll try to reply to my messages halfway timely now. I feel a bit guilty because you guys keep supporting me with comments, faves, watches, llamas and donations. Thank you so much for that, it is highly appreciated! Even though I don't reply timely I always read my messages.
I am just so grateful that *CherryblueOrange showed this website to me - I met amazing people, made friends and found inspiring artists.
DeviantArt and the people I met there have made my life much more beautiful.
And now to my BIG SURPRISE: Something AMAZING has happened!

Holiday Card Project 2012More Like This
It's back! With the goal of bringing a little cheer to patients in the hospital during the holiday season, the deviantART Holiday Card Project connects deviants from around the world and applies their tremendous artistic abilities in designing and creating uplifting holiday cards.
In past years, the Project has received more than 5,000 cards sent in by more than 1,000 deviants from 50 different countries/political regions. Cards were then divvied up and distributed in-person by deviantART members to local Los Angeles, CA hospitals, with additional cards given to various hospitals in the U.S. and abroad for hospital staff members to hand out to patients.
The idea behind the Holiday Card Project is simple: do something nice for others. However, if you're looking for even more incentive, every deviant who submits a card will be given a free one-month Premium Membership to deviantA
