"Do we really have to go to the mall, Star?" Jolt asked as the Tamaranean dragged him towards the entrance.
"Oh, yes, friend Jolt, it is an Earth custom for teenagers like us to do the shopping," she said.
"They'd better have something in black," the boy said as they entered the mall.
"Where shall we go first, friend Jolt?" Starfire asked as she looked around at the stores.
"Can we go home?" Jolt sarcastically asked her.
She stared at him, "don't be a zorggnag."
"Okay, okay, I'm sorry," he said.
"Good, now… let's go here!" she said as she dragged him

Roy stomped on Wally’s tapping foot and squished it into the floor. “That.”
Wally flinched and yanked his leg away. “Okay, okay...”
They sat in the subway car, listening to the static of the corroded fluorescence and the hum of the moving car, clacking and groaning against the metal vein it followed. Wally sighed inwardly and rolled up his russet sleeves. Roy had his arms crossed, letting his green eyes stray out the opposing black window.
