Failure? Rejection? Boredom? Not being good enough for something or someone?
Im starting to notice in my own life that where I am afraid is usually a good indicator of where I have the greatest opportunity.
Im not talking about fear of running into freeway traffic. Thats a healthy respect for the laws of physics.
Im talking about those things that if you are still long enough to listen to your own heart, you hear it telling you what you really hope for.
And usually there is a voice right behind it telling you why you cant have it, and all of the reasons why.
This past year, I have made a focused effort to start telling that voice to go back to whatever it was doing before it bothered me.
And if that doesnt work, I get a bit more..... aggressive.
As I have been practicing this in my life, I have started to notice something that I had missed for years...
That fear voice is actually covering up the simple fact that you only have to choose. And then choose again. An
YAC 2013 Results AnnouncementIt is my honor and pleasure to present to you the results of the Fifth Annual Young Artists Contest (June 16, 2013 ~ August 15, 2013). A total of 103 entries was submitted by artists aged 13 to 18. Once again, we were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding skills, originality of the visions, and overall artistic maturity of many of the submissions.
