Prologue: My Brother, My Secret.More Like This
The clock's chime was deep and soothing as it echoed through out the entire building. It was an old grandfather clock that sat in the farthest corner of the building, next to the entrance. It was enticing; with a silken, dark brown wooden finish, there was golden words etched across the center of the face of the clock. Time's Works. Time is worth a minute, Love is worth a lifetime.
The building smelt of intoxicating chocolate and sweet vanilla. Every utensil and all the furniture carried this beautiful smell and no one cared for it one bit.
As the door swung open, the smell ran through every strand of hair, as if playing through a meadow of tall grass.
"We are now open."
The voice that spoke itself was sweet to the ears. It belonged to a male. He was fairly tall, with smoothed over black hair; it was slightly layered, but fit perfect against his soft jaw line. A smile roamed and played across his moist lips, the aroma surrounding him as he took swayed steps into the building.
