An Amazing Surf 'Roots' How-ToHello! I'm here to give you some tips while working with Amazing Surf formula! Before start to look, checkout Jorge's wonderful AMAZING SURF 2 tutorial over there ->More Like This
Okay. Let's Begin. Open Mandelbulb3D, and replace Integer by Amazing Surf. Zoom little bit out, and it should look like this:
Now change some values of formula:
Min R: 0.1
Rotation1 X: 13
Rotation1 Y: 9
Rotation1 Z: -20
Scale Vary: 0
Sphere or Cylinder: 0
When you zoom into center little bit, you may already see forming some little curls like this:
Now turn on Julia on and put these values:
And we're done! For experimenting, higher or lower surf/julia values and get more mystery shapes! (Tip: Put Asurf to 3-4-5th slot, to put before it different formula. It can enhance your Asurf fractal) Examples:
Hypertile BasicsFirst of all, special thanks to Zueuk who had the patience to explain me all the hypertile stuffMore Like This
There is also an awesome hypertile tutorial that you should check out first: Hypertile Uncovered With 3D
To make a basic hypertile, you will need 2 transforms: Basic hypertile

The exact bubble size to fill a hypertile can be calculated exactly, or you can just change the amount of bubble until it fits.
The hypertile has two parameters, p and q. Basically, this means it takes p-gons, with q polygons meeting at each vertex (this does

Hello! Welcome to the Fractal Art week at projecteducate! My name is C-91 and I take care of the Fractal Art gallery as Community Volunteer.
What is a fractal?
A fractal is a natural phenomenon or a mathematical set that exhibits a repeating pattern that displays at every scale.Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Fractals are an intrinsic aspect of Nature, and can be found in a multitude of elements, such as plants...
...or fossils, just to name a few examples.
The beauty of Fractal Art lies not only in its close relationship with the laws of Nature, but also in its diversity: there are a lot of fractal softwares available on the Internet, and each and every of them generates a different kind of "style" (which eventually will be enriched by the a
Plugins and stuffHey guys,More Like This
there is no way I can express the amount of requests in numbers - so I make something easier for you I've put my plugins up on deviantART so you can find them in my gallery again. Also, the groups which have added them to their galleries will have them once again - given that they didn't remove the "deviation in storage"-items yet.
Let me explain you why I moved them in the storage: I've been noticing that many of you guys are having them day-to-day in your fractals which, simply said, is really amazing! But the problem with the deviantART gallery is that it's very...weird hosting resources here. It's made for artwork and managing resources on this website is very stressful and more work than it should be. This is why I moved them over to my website which also hosts Apophysis 7x: apophysis.xyrus-worx.org. If you click "extensions", you get exactly what you're looking for - with source code and always the latest version in a nice and easy list. I even linked (not hosted) ot
