Glad it's snowingIt was the day before Christmas, Noah had invited Rex to come over to play video games or just ha out. He was alone at home, while his parents were out doing last minute Christmas shopping, so both teens were alone at home. It was snowing, the streets were cover in white, basketball was out of the question, or going out. Rex was so cold when he reached Noah’s house, he was glad he had gloves, still his hands were a little cold, the rest of his body was colder that’s why he felt he was melting when Noah open the door and he felt the warm heat coming from the inside. The EVO pushed his human friend aside and ran inside, directly to a heater Noah had on his living room. Rex rub his hands together near the device, Noah chuckled and closed the door. Even he could feel how cold it was and he only had the door open for a couple of minutes. Rex apologized to him, smiling nervously. After the EVO was warm enough they could start their fun. "We need to be more careful," Six warned walking into Holiday's lab.
Holiday heard her secret lover pacing around the room.
"Oh, you worry too much," she replied, not looking up from the microscope under her gaze.
Six didn't answer right away, choosing to stare unseeingly as many unpleasant scenarios played out in his mind. "I'm cautious," he settled on. "I'm risking a lot to be with you. Providence-"
"Doesn't like in-house relationships," the beautiful scientist finished. "I know."
"So you agree we need to be careful?"
"More careful than last night?" Holiday teased.
"Shame, you were quite inventive."

It was a birthday present.
The kite was old, like everything else his father bought for him. Vintage, that was the word he'd said it with pride. As if age had made it even better.
He'd bought the kite from a little chica back in the Amazon basin, the last time he'd checked on the Nanite Project. It'd been handmade, apparently, with plenty of care.
Noah ran his hands along the wood, letting his fingers fall into the holes time had torn into the kite fabric. The gift was a peace offering, he knew, his father making up for all the Lil' League Basketball games when he was nothing but an empty spot on the bleachers. Care and a single present, Noah figured, was pittance for all the birthdays the man had missed.
"You weren't there for me,"
"I'm sorry, son," His father ran tired fingers through his rapidly-greying hair. "I mean, with the Project taking up this much time, I..." He paused, catching himself. "Wait. This is your birthday, right? I-I didn't miss it, did I?"

Origin: Centuries ago, the first generation ancestral sprites originated and resided in “Sylonya”, a deep and well-hidden cavern isolated from the outside world. The ancestral sprites were struggling to survive with little resources. A young female sprite named Saylea discovered a small cave of multicolored quartz, most of which contained small traces of preserved natural elements. She used a few of the quartz to experiment on, trying to revive the conserved element to help provide for her people’s survival. One of the quartz she experimented on got exposed to the ancestral s
