The Threave Estate near Castle Douglas in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland has the ruins of one of the most photogenic castles in all of Scotland - Threave Castle - former home of the most well known of the Black Douglases - Archibald the Grim. Even the path to the castle has an ominous feel to it.

Middle Lake, and I think the most beautiful one of the three from the shore. A couple of hours later I was at that glacier staring back at all three lakes lined up

I wanted to make a very simple drawing. Nothing conceptual or complicated, just plain minimalistic.
The idea isn't new and has been used in photography before, but I thought I'd give it a shot with pencils (no reference photo).
Well here it is. I like the simplicity of it. Hope you like it too.

I was just having some fun with my new Wacom Tablet!! There are six high res star brushes in the set. No rules, just have fun and i would love to see what people do with them. and if you make millions off of your piece i want a helicopter. That is all. Fin.
