For seven long years, Dib has been trying to expose/destroy the Irken invader, Zim, who showed up in his fifth grade class one day. As soon as Dib saw this green kid, he KNEW he was an alien. Of course, no matter how obvious it was, and no matter how hard he tried to prove it, no one believed Zim was really an alien. He became very discouraged after awhile.
