UndeterredIn travels that I've yet to planMore Like This
and plan, I never will,
down miles of unfamiliar trails
I'll venture on until
my feet should find a forest's edge
of twisted branch and root,
the shadow of its overgrowth
awaiting my pursuit.
And though the trees shall warn me,
"you will walk beside your fear;
for many braver than yourself
have lost their way in here"
my trembling hands will steady;
I'll accept the truths I've heard,
and if fate should bid I enter
I'll walk forward undeterred.
