Just Spitfire being a tease with Soarin and Rainbow Dash is jelly. Jelly of Spitfire that is, I believe in a straight Dash. And don't worry Dashie, maybe she's just playing around with him.

Dunno if I ship this or not, I'm not huge on shipping non-canon couples, but it would be funny if there was a bit of a love-triangle with these 2 someday. And like I say, I can't see Dash with anyone except Soarin since he's a Wonderbolt and they probably have a lot in common and he showed some gratitude to her for rescuing his precious apple pie. Spitfire goes good with him too though. Either could go with Soarin I guess, but I just made this for fun really.

I actually missed that Spitfire had Rarityesque eyes in my last pic of her and Soarin's hair kinda looks like Sonic's! XD I hope I got his cutie mark right too. They sure are fun to draw, and their hairstyles are practically the same actually!

I just find it hilarious that made this : RIGHT before I uploaded mine! "Nothing Can Ruin This" eh? We'll see about that Veggie!

EDIT: Ok, so I guess a lot of people couldn't get the joke. Some did but only cuz I gave lots of hints. Here is the answer: that one big curl to the left of my signature is shaped like a 9 and is on a cloud, so it's "Cloud 9". Get it?! XD

Around that time Anneli Heed (The awesome voice behind Spitfire) mentions a Mercedes and then I was like "DONE, THAT'S HER CAR" (Although she was uncertain of a car brand), however when I tried putting the metallic purple on the car, I didn't believe it looked right, so I kept it silver (sorry ) :C. Also mentioned that Sibsy and Anneli Heed should get together! So I put Sibsy's OC Wild Fire in there along with Spitfire!

I tried something different with the background, and that I used "Screen" mode to give a nice lighting/bloom effect.

P.S. Even though this animation is simple, the Twilight you see here is made up of over 30 different layers, 16 of which are taken up entirely by the eyes! She is fully functional and is my most complex and proudest flash build yet! I'll definetly be using her more in the future! (Assuming I can get her voice again... )

So, I did her too :33 It was a challenge but worth it! I designed for her a simple yet very elegant gown, ( at least she is an idol in Equestria) this very light purple, not pink! it's light purple XD, goes with her color scheme perfectly in my opinion. ( and I didn't wanna make her a blue gown, her Wonderbolt uniform is already blue too)
And yeah I completely changed her hair style, originally she had her normal hair but that just looked ridiculous with this gown.

Other Gala Ponies

So my friend Kevin (Ascended Wings), drew the original via pen and paper as a gift for my birthday, no color or anything. I decided to make it look all fancy an stuff. First time using Paint Tool SAI too, what do you guys think?

This is going to be a 11x17in poster print for TrotCon and Bronycon!

Hey, guys. So do any of you remember that old summer project I promised you guys last year? I finally got around to it. It's only been, what? a year? It's all good. LOL
So.... yeah. This is my vision of the streets of Canterlot- if it were to be built by French architect ponies. I think it's the perfect compliment to Canterlot; the street cafes, cobblestone, even the little gargoyles/ statues are in the show. I had a lot of room for interpretations for this piece thanks to the ambiguity in the visual stylings of the show. Though I do feel I abused the liberty a bit, seeing how the only things that make this recognizable as Canterlot are the towers, the cafe seen in the S2 finale and "Sweet and Elite", and Pony Joe's. Meh, whatever. I'm still happy
This is actually the first piece in a looong time of which I am truly satisfied with the outcome. I've had so much fun drawing this, it's silly I also found my .3 mechanical, which really helped a lot. You'd me surprised by how much of a difference of .2mm can make.. it's ridiculous!
Completion time~ 58 hours over 2 weeks. Crushed my old record!! It sure payed off in the end, I gotta say. I sure hope you like it as much as I do.
