Cover art for Jeroen Steenbeeke's Book, The Ravens End Game ! Great guy, awesome story, great characters and a fun project to work on ! This character is Sarina, she is the greatest of all "Destroyers" in the saga. The Idea was to show the power of her abilities with an orb or fire being summoned around her.
This is my last illustration, a diablo 3 fan art done for "Diablo 3 art contest, portrait of a champion", you can check my artwork here : [link] there is great artworks and amazing artists there, check it out ! [link]
You can find some wallpaper of this fanart in my blog here : [link]
Here is another version by me of the Demon Hunter, i do not claim the rights of this picture wich belong to Blizzard, but i just pick and stick many pictures together for fun and because i like it too... This one is a short distance attacker (i don't really know how to say it in english...) with shield and a sort of claw like the Assassin in D2 I Hope you like it ! She is so gorgeous !
Being a loyal Diablo fan for 15 years, I've made a painting a while ago featuring the Demon Hunter from Diablo III. I think he's got the most attitude out of the bunch. Looking forward to play the game!
Well, i think i'm just crazy of this artwork because i can't stop mixing the differents skins to make my own. As the others, the right of this picture belong to Blizzard ! Tell me what do you think of it ! I'm waiting for your comms I think this double crossbow hunter will be my last and my better one ! Enjoy...

Finally! After sooo long, here are some fresh stuff!
I actually started these for a small contest by Blizzard Entertainment for Diablo 3 but I wasn't able to finish them and only entered two. Then I realized the potential in doing high quality D3 fanart for publicity. Not only was it for good press but would also serve as a good practice for me. Then, eventually, it turned into this 3 month beast of a personal project. I actually started mid-April and finished just two days ago working on these on and off after my day-job.
My art direction was like this because I wanted a glamour/fashion/action type of full body portraits. I wanted to stay close to the original designs while giving it a little twist. Also, since Diablo 3 is a top-down type of game, seeing action and skills up close would be very interesting for the target audience. Although it was very fun to do, I actually got burnt out just because it took soo long to finish. (blame my busy day-job haha) Still, I got what I wanted and learned a ton about composition, posing, anatomy, lighting, armor designs, and most importantly, about being PATIENT and STICKING to your plan to the end.
ALSO, I have video processes of these here! [link] ################################## Other illustrations of the set are here:
EDIT: changed a few minor things... especially the lenght of her legs.
READ THIS (!): I want to draw/paint another D3-Char... but I don't know, which. I you have a good Idea for a D3-Char-Artwork, tell me... maybe I will do that. The Idea should be a little more specific then: "draw a naked chick, dude... duh"
Diablo 3 Demon Hunter digital speed painting inspired by a Diablo 3 Demon hunter video demo I saw a couple weeks ago. A little over an hour. Here is my painting process [link] Both Video tutorial and step by step images
When Diablo III was anounced last Saturday, I felt so excited I looked for my preferred artworks on the official website and made some wallpapers out of them. I just love Diablo 2 so much, I hope the third will make me want to play it for the next 7 years as its older brother did.
One of an infinite number of potential outcomes, this timeway depicts the desolate future of Azeroth should its defenders fail to stop Deathwing. In this bleak future, Nozdormu has identified an anomaly that bars access to both the past and the Dragon Soul: a powerful creature from out of time, living alone amid time-twisted echoes of the past. In order for Nozdormu to provide you the ability to travel back in time to a point before the Dragon Soul was hidden by Malfurion Stormrage from anyone who’d seek its power, you must first go to a distant and desolate future to discover the anomaly blocking the past. You'll find yourself in a very different Dragonblight, stripped of its snowy landscape, with little more than ruins of the once-great dragonshrines. Wyrmrest Temple itself stands only as a reminder of Deathwing's madness -- what's left of his scorched remains is impaled atop the structure. in this pic: Nozdormu is facing his future fallen version Murozond, the one seen the future beyong end time and want to change the possblility of saving the world~~~no one can help the timeless one and the fallen himself to meet his doomed fate.
My entry for the BlizzCon 2011 Fan Art Contest. It's a Demon Hunter from Diablo 3, fighting a couple of Fallen Ones.
After having a look at the other fan art in Blizzard's fan art gallery, I get the feeling I don't stand a chance, hah. But I'll never win if I don't at least try, right?
Oh, and about the throwing knives... They've got fire damage, so they're actually glowing hot metal, and not cheap plastic, believe it or not. I initially wanted to do some fire effects, but it got really messy really fast, and I opted for the glowing hotness instead. I honestly don't know if that was a better choice, but there you go.
Edit: Daily Deviation! That's cool! This is when I should be making the double-D boob joke, right?
It has been over 2 months since the 3rd anniversary of the reveal of Diablo III. During that time I have seen many wallpapers posted and fan artwork made. As well as a few stories and poetry written.
There were so many wallpaper ideas I had, but my drive was low and I decided to take a break. Now that I have that drive again I decided to start off with a better version of the Female Monk.
The first time I made the female monk wallpaper was during it's reveal: [link] . I have been wanting to do this for this piece for a while, but other ideas and just life in general kept pushing it back.
So I decided with this wallpaper to just start simple again just like with the original basis of the Fiery Runes Series was about. Yes it is a simple blank black background without anything special. Yes it is a circle of runes with something in or around them. Yes I have used this concept to the point where some think it has been over done.
But what you folks don't understand is this. This IS the way the series is. If I change the layout a little to accommodate the piece I will. There are times I love to add details that improve the piece. Look at the Bestiary sub-series in series III: [link] . This one is an example of what I mean.
There are also many versions and changes to the Locations Sub-series as well. I want the images to look just right. Not too crazy and not too hyper boring plain. If the image doesn't lose it's central focus then I have done my job.
Thank you to the fans who have followed me through these past 3 years, and to the haters; you're just gonna hate. Can't help much after that. If you like my wallpapers; awesome. If you hate them; thats fine too.
Expect my delayed 3 year anniversary for the fiery runes series next week. Thanks for reading this wall of text and I'll see you again soon!
tl;dr - Remade the monk wallpaper, talked about the wallpaper series, thank you to the fans and haters gonna hate. See you next week!
Thanks guys for the views and love for my DA page. I haven't been very active on this site but I will try my best to be from now on.
This is a piece I did a long time ago. I was too lazy or didn't feel like it was ready to be posted online. It's a piece that I did for last years DWIV contest but I never had the time or will to finish this concept. But I will participate again this year and hopefully make it to the finishing line.
