1. If you use pre-made lines, don't expect people to pay much for your adoptables.
I think when people on here buy adoptables they are doing two things: (1) They are buying something they can't make for themselves, and (2) They are buying a piece of art. When you use lineart that is free to use, or even just fairly inexpensive (<2$) but try to charge 10x the amount I expect that you've done more than just flat-shade the design. I expect detailed shading, that you've added some jewelry/armor/whatever AND that you've hand-painted the mane and tail. If you haven't done that, you haven't satisfied the two criteria I mentioned because (1) I can just download those lines and do it myself (**definitely not condoning copying someone else's design, b
