C x V Chapter 10A soft clicking echoed in the hallway as Chaos made his way to the bridge. Crew men all scrambled to get out of the demon's way, terrified that Chaos was actually in control and on the ship.More Like This
'Chaos do you even know where the bridge is?' Vincent asked as his demon continued to wandered down the halls.
'Of course I do Valentine. Just because you happen to be in control of our body most of the time, doesn't mean I don't pay attention to were you're going.'
'It's my body, not ours.' Chaos merely smirked.
'Of course it's not our body. I just happen to be living in it.' He said sarcastically. Vincent glared at his demon but didn't say anything and Chaos smirked again.
'Well, it looks like I win another argument.'
'Just pay attention and go to the bridge. And don't get lost.'
'Don't worry, I am. I'll get you back to your beloved pilot soon.' Vincent glared again and turned on his heel to head to the back of the demon's conscious thoughts.
Cid casually walked through the door of the bridge, hi
C x V Chapter 9Over the next two hours, everything went back to normal... sort of. Yuffie was still being a pain. Cid kept cursing. Tifa was still trying to get everything under control and everyone else either watched the usual drama or just didn't pay attention.More Like This
Vincent, on the other hand, slept through the whole thing. Now, it wasn't the drugs so much that were making him tired, but him just not wanting to answer any of his friends' questions. Luckily, Chaos was in remotely the same mood and was comfortable on the bed, so he didn't bother to talk or annoy his host.
As the demon remained asleep next to Vincent leg, the gunman stayed curled up underneath Cid's jacket and let the drugs slowly wear off, dozing off every once in a while.
Cid had gone in a few times to check up on him and every time, found him asleep. The pilot would always readjust the blankets and make sure that Vincent was comfortable before returning to the bridge.
It had been, what seemed like a long flight, but when they were abou
C x V Chapter 6Finally, after several small panic attacks and much prodding by Chaos, Vincent reached his destination. As his memory had shown, it was down the hall, the first door on the left. Besides a new layer of dust, everything was exactly the same as it had been five years ago. Two coffins were pushed up against the walls, with his coffin, centered directly in the middle of the room. Thankfully, the lid was closed on his, so the five years worth of dust wasn't in it.More Like This
Vincent carefully walked over to his coffin and pushed the lid off and landed on the floor with a loud crash.
Vincent stood there, grasping the rim of the coffin, and suddenly realized just how tired he felt. His eyes were beginning to fall closed and he began to feel light-headed.
Memories started to flood back again. He remembered feeling the prick of the needle break the skin on his arm, the drugs fill his veins, the sudden and overwhelming exhaustion. His eyes fell closed completely and he started to sway slightly, totally lo
Cid x Vincent FanficThe battle was finally over. Cid stood there, clutching his bloody spear, over looking the battlefield. When he finally realized that the surviving monsters were retreating back into the forests and mountains, he looked up to scan the skies for any sign of him. Cid knew that he wasnt in any condition to be fighting right now. He hadnt slept or had anything to eat or drink in over a week, and he was fading fast. Finally, Cid could see a small figure come into view.More Like This
Im gonna ring his fucking neck when I get a hold of him. Cid muttered to himself as he started walking over to where the figure was descending. Great, black wings; long, demon-like claws. Yeah, thats him alright. Cid continued to walk over to the demon. As the figure slowly drifted downward, Cid picked up his pace, getting ready to kill Vincent for doing something as stupid as fighting when he could hardly stand.
First he stops sleeping, then eating. Then he follows me out

When Vincent woke up, he was shivering uncontrollably. His body was filled with an icy biting cold, so deep that it felt as if it were coming from his bones. It was the chill from the snowstorm outside of the inn, the sling of cold metal and Mako, the icy prick of a scalpel. It was the cold indifference that he seemed to give off constantly, but now it was all focused on him, and it was too cold. He was shaking so hard his teeth were chattering, but it wasn't doing anything.
Vincent gave a breathy whimper and curled up, trying to gain heat from the sheets, from his body, anything to drive away the terrible cold. But there was no warmth. The bed was as cold as it had been when he first laid down to sleep, and his body felt like ice. The side of the sheets against his skin felt like frost forming on him.
'I'm dead,' he thought, beginning to panic. 'I died again, and I'm so cold, and they're going to lock me away again-!" Vincent shuddered hard and his breathing
