" SPAAAAAAAAAAAACCEEEEEE!" Space shouted with enthusiasm, running through the wheat field without a care in the world, gazing up at the night sky. It had been hours since he was freed from the facility, and all the stars in the sky was making every little minute worth it. He was enjoying himself, right up until he looked at his hands.
As it turns out, the lift had been a very nasty trap, filled with turrets. He had no idea as to how they managed to escape, but they did, right up until they stepped outside. GLaDOS had been clever... and installed a security mechanism inside Wheatley's mobile body. It would self destruct if it ever went outside the laboratory. His wasn't built with such a feature, but it scared the both of them when they heard the announcement. Bright everything is too bright every part of the body hurts she tried to move, roll away from the light. Two things stopped her. One was the throbs of numbing pain in her back and chest. He shifted, recrossing his legs, before settling that intense stare back on her.
"I mean, I understand you getting us all out of there; you're a very thoughtful young lady. And I even understand you're setting us up in our own lives out here. And not wanting to rent another apartment until he can afford his own rent, but why do you let him stay here? Isn't he, like, a safety hazard or something?"
She sighed, putting down the hot chocolate she'd been so looking forward to.
"He could stay with Fact and Craft. They've got plenty of space in that flat of theirs."
She shook her head.
"What about Morality? Doesn't she have a condo now?"
Chell rolled her eyes. Yes, and she's renting to Rage and Curiosity.

Where does one go? Where could one go? Did they even have a family, a home or someone they knew to help them? The chances of finding at least some sort of civilization would take days, even weeks of continuous walking. That meant no food, no water and even pushing their way through the night just to get moving. One had to start off somewhere even with that one tug inside the heart that gave hope on where to go and what to do, it was better than nothing. One step is all it takes to start the journey of one's lifetime even if what they can remember of their life was just bits and pieces of lost memories. With this in mind, a step was taken and the tired girl with the giant cube began her long walk to where her heart was telling her to be somewhere safe somewherMore Like This
