Minimoy Valentines in a DaisyNarcissus twirled the little flower in her hand, noting how the sent seemed so much better than the regular sized ones. Was it even called a flower in the Minimoy land? Or was it called something in their tongue that meant, 'Smaller flower'?More Like This
" So you like them?" Came the prince's inquisitive voice from beside her. The woman looked to him and smiled with a nod.
"I love them, Beta! These are so lovely! The scent isn't too strong, but not too soft." she then laid her back down against the flower petal they sat on and turned on her side to face him. The Minimoy prince had pulled her away from Arthur and Selenia, stating he had to show her something. The brunette thought nothing of it but suspected he wanted some, 'Alone Time', with her, but he had put them on the back a spider- which she was still hesitant about- and they had went onwards, deeper beyond the kingdom.
Soon they were in a patch of what looked to be the tall stems of Daisies somewhere in Grandma Daisy's garden. Betameche then

So my first thought as a giant lava-monster was speeding towards us at, like, five hundred
miles per hour: how the heck did I get here? I mean, one day I'm sitting in front of the
Master Emerald. The next day, I'm still sitting in front of the Master Emerald. Then, the
day after that, I'm about to die in a cave with a pink girl as my only company. See, this
is why I don't like caves.
Just as we were about to die, Amy jumped in front of me and yelled at the top of her
lungs, "STOP!" And believe it or not, it worked. For the record, though, I think the
monster was more surprised than anything. That or its ears? Do lava monsters have
ears? ANYWAY, that or its ears were blown off. Man, that girl could yell.
In the moment of silence as the monster paused, Amy started to talk rapid-fire in some
language I didn't recognize. As she spoke, the monster roared something that sounded
like "NOOOOO!" and melted into the ground. Once it was completely gone,

Knuckles' POV (again)
As we walked down the hall, Amy filled me in on how she came to be sucked into a wall.
Evidently, she came looking for the treasure (which I figured out on my own, thanks) and
brushed against the wall in a bad spot.
"How long were you in there, exactly?" I asked.
She thought for a minute. "Maybe a couple days? I'm not sure exactly."
"And how many explorers came by in that time?" I wanted to know how much
competition for the treasure there was.
"Five or six, probably. You were the first one who bothered to try and help me," she said
sadly. "The others just walked straight past, but I know the noticed me yelling."
"Well, that's people for you," I snorted. "That's why I stay up on Angel Island all the
time, except when I'm treasure-hunting or helping my friends."
"You stay up on Angel Island all the time? Don't you get lonely?" Amy asked, eyes
puzzled. The question caught me off guard. Did I get lonely? I hadn't really

I never liked caves. They make me feel all claustrophobic.
The only reason I was even in a cave was because I found some treasure map that led
straight here, and Sonic was too CHICKEN to come. Apparently he likes caves even less
than I do.
So after I found my way to the entrance, I went into the tunnel network, which I could
tell you was a mistake even before I went in. For one thing, the tunnel entrance was
shaped like a mouth with huge stalactite fangs. For another, I couldn't see anything past
my nose until the whole tunnel lit up with a bunch of creepy torches. That is never, EVER
a good sign.
After about ten minutes of walking, I heard what sounded like a girl calling out for help.
I wasn't sure what to do about that, and I figured it might just be my claustrophobia
messing with my head, so I kept on going. The shouting got louder and louder, until it
sounded like it was right next to me-straight out of the wall

There have been a flurry of journal entries this week about certain individuals stealing art and posting it on Facebook under their own name - sometimes even leaving the original watermark intact and just plastering their name over it. Now, the problem is, only the owner of the piece can report it. I know of individuals on dA doing the same thing - lifting photos from various websites and posting them here as their "original photography". Where do these people get off?
Some great work I've seen this week:

Quoted from the artist's note: "Only the Blind can truly see....
.... for they cannot prejudge on the appearance !!!"
> The blind eye looks like it could penetrate one's heart!
"Apple of Eden"
I dunno why but I do think this piece is almost magical. The way the artist approached this theme is quite different.
I like the gold like apple, presented like some futuristic techno. The 'Eve' is now a young girl.
Young=full of curiosity. > Curiosity can kill you!~
The overall presentation gives me quite strong impact, the colors and the subjects are complementing each other.
Artistic and so cool! Hard to describe, it just captured my view!
Awesome conceptual art. Graceful and playful! Good composition and colors.

Since I'd like to dig a bit deeper into this topic I've been looking trough dA to find inspiration and education. I always like broadening my horizon! And I'd like to broaden yours! But instead of reinventing the wheel, I'll feature some journal entries, groups and artists that I find helpful and interesting! Go and check them out if you're fancy to learn something new about still life!
Project Educate had a wonderful week with tips and tricks! I love these weeks and they are great starting points for things one might not be familiar with. I really do recommend checking it out!
What's a still life anyway? Find out in these great article:
Sometimes it's not easy to decide whether a work fit's into the still life gallery here on dA or rather into another. Here you
