Red is not the color of waterA boy looked out on the sea near Taiji.
More Like This
And saw a sight he couldn't understand.
"Mama," he said, innocent and unassuming,
"Why is the water red?"
His mother looked out at the scarlet red sea,
And took her son's hand and pulled him along.
"Nothing to worry about, my dear little boy,
"It's only the fisherman's catch of the day."
And so this well-kept secret was passed,
On to the next generation, unfortunately.
Perhaps the little boy could've done something,
Something to change the world one day.
But because the mother refused to make known,
The deadly instances that occurred near their home,
The problem will go unsolved and unknown,
And the dolphins killed there won't be avenged.
Someone must do something,
Someone must stand up for the dolphins.
Another 23 thousand don't deserve to be killed,
Or shipped to live in captivity its whole life.
Dolphins are smarter than you or I,
But still, they are killed and captured everyday.
The world needs to know about this terrible plot,
