But Cleaner had stopped listening to his protests two hours previously, and he'd given up protesting one hour previously.
When they'd happened upon this corridor of filth, as he'd come to call it in his mind, there had been no question in either of their minds what they were to do. Even OCD, one more suited for management over labor, had 'borrowed' a few disinfectant wipes and begun scrubbing the floor one inch at a time, making sure it was perfectly clean after Cleaner dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and otherwise sanitized the corridor.
