In TPP's Red Anniversary run, we went through the trouble of trading a Slowbro for a Kadabra. He's not very obedient. He didn't evolve like he was suppose. But is still called Alakazam. He also won't listen to battle commands. :|

My second artwork for Entei and part of a 10 Pokémon commission from :iconoperia:

In Crystal, if the player plays Entei's cry in the Pokédex, then switches to Suicune or Raikou before the cry ends, the cry of Suicune or Raikou is changed.

The original is of course by nintendo, but this is my own artwork of its character

Leafeon is a really pretty Eeveelution, and I've wanted to draw one for a long time... and I finally got it done! :D It turned out to be pretty~ :3 I'm also working on Glaceon, so look forward to it!

I used a different scanner with this (since I don't live home anymore, I used Uni's) and it destroyed the colors, but I managed to save most by photoshoping. It's still not as good as the original though. :/

A friend of mine wanted a plague doctor mask, and so I found this hollow mask and made it for him. It actually turned out a little small, so I'll scale any other ones I make a little bigger.

I think this belongs to the Vizored Rose?

:bulletgreen: The hilt is made of cardboard with a wooden dowel handle
:bulletgreen: The top of the hilt is made of craft foam

Second take (hah) at Won Park's Dollar Bill Camera. Made as a request for my cousin's wife, for her parent's anniversary.

...though, since she is reimbursing me for the $20 bill I used to fold it, could I technically call it a commission? In which case, it would be my first origami commission! XD

My favorite generation! I had them done for quite a while, but I'm glad we could finnaly release the starters, at least the basic forms ;)

The hardest one was Chimchar, followed by making Piplup stand and the easiest was Turtwig, but the shell was kinda tricky. Be careful with Chimchar's hands and flame (if you choose to build it with flames), they are the hardest thing of these models.

I've posted my Turtwig (luisferrari.deviantart.com/art…) and Chimchar (luisferrari.deviantart.com/art…), I'll see if i take some decent pictures of Piplup someday soon. Meanwhile, Here's :iconlyrin-83:'s picture: lyrin-83.deviantart.com/art/Pi…

Really cute model, always like this Pokemon. Quite old one also, had this one for about an year...

Not overall a hard model, but with some tricky parts, such as the assemble of the shell. Notes on the template and on the site.

I meant to upload this years ago! I know, it's pretty slack, but better late than never. I had customised a couple of Budypoke models to look like Jessie and James ... well, as close to the Team Rocket characters as the templates would allow me to edit them. Even if they aren't exactly perfect, they are still pretty darn cute :D

I gave them a number of expressions, including: looking at each other sideways, happy, screaming, surprised, evil, giggling, and a particular look I just can't explain.

Enjoy and have fun.

Decades from now
When the birds are all gone
When their bodies have decayed
The waste of this generation
Will remain

Is this for posterity?
Is this our legacy?

_______________________

This was inspired by the film, Midway. www.midwayfilm.com/

It is a touching documentary about the Midway island that is home to 1.5 million albatrosses and many other species of wildlife. However, the island is covered in 20 tons of plastic waste. The plastics are from the Pacific Garbage Patch, estimated to be twice the size of the United States. The plastic waste, discarded from our daily lives and washed into the ocean, are now found in the stomach of many dead animals. One in three baby albatrosses living on Midway Island dies from plastic ingestion. 5 tons of plastic find their way into these baby birds ever year.

While watching the film, all I could think of was how the plastics will still be there when the corpses of the dead baby birds are long gone, and how the future generations won't look up to see a sky full of birds, but look down to see a land filled with waste. I hope we have more that just trash as our legacy to the future.

There are simple things you can do to help reduce this problem:

- Recycle. Sounds simple but means so much. By recycling, you are not only preventing the plastic trash from being put into a landfill or dumped into the ocean, you are also reducing the need to create new plastic from petroleum and all of the damages that comes with mining for oil.

- Don't litter. It's really not hard to walk a few extra steps to make sure the trash goes into the can instead of just throwing it on the ground where it will be washed into the drains and rivers, which eventually lead to the ocean. Such simple action can save countless tons of plastic from ending up in the stomachs of baby birds.

- Go for biodegradable products. It's not a widely available option yet, but more and more products are made with biodegradable material. When given the option, choose the right one, and avoid products that have a lot of unnecessary packaging. Instead of buying 40 bottles of water, buy one long lasting water bottle and reuse it 100 times over. This way you'll save time and money as well as the environment.

Short Description:
1. Play Music
2. Help Miku dance & lipsync
example: youtu.be/1szQ7YDGdXw

Long Description:
"Halfne Miku Studio" is a very basic dancing program with the goal of allowing you to entertain yourself as you listen to music and pretend Miku is singing and dancing to it, because either you can't find any videos of it, or you don't know how to make them yourself (but you at least know how to wave a mouse to a beat and tap a space bar to some notes!).

Hopefully I don't have to explain much, but I will probably have to. I'll wait a bit to see what issues I most often hear people coming across, and then editing the answer back in to a FAQ.
Until then, click on buttons and see what they do!

I spent most of this month working on this thing. My plans for this deviation kind of blew out of proportion: originally it was just going to be an illustration of a tiny Miku with no arms. Then it was going to be an animation. Then, when I had the animation set up, I was like "hey, why not take it a step further and make it controllable by input as well?" And then I had to add lip syncing and backgrounds. And then I was about ready to upload it when I thought "Hey, I want to record a clip of how this is supposed to be used so people can understand its purpose without having to read!" But it turns out I really suck at live performances, so I made implemented a crude recording and playback feature. And then I thought, "well, as long as I made this interface, I should probably try to make it a little more accessible to people." And so now you have it: the product of a month of feature creep! Was it worth it? I DON'T KNOW! *_*

I originally called her "Halfne" because she was so small and armless that it was like she was not a complete Miku. I'm sticking with it for now, even after attaching her arms, because she has no voice and that might kind of be a big deal for a vocaloid?

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I upload this to Youtube?
A: Sure! You don't even need to credit me; just be cool about it.

Q: How do I upload this to Youtube?
A: You'll need to record the screen with something like Fraps or CamStudio. The saved .jig files are just for resuming/sharing your work in Halfne Miku Studio.

Q: Will there be different outfits/characters to choose from?
A: Not in this version, no. This is more of a proof of concept, and I need to end the feature creep somewhere.
HINT: I might want to make another version based on the feedback I get here? I want to see how well this idea is received before I sink more time into it.

Q: How did you make this?
A: Uhhh, with my computer? I don't know what kind of answer you are hoping for.

Q: Can I change the lipsync after I've recorded it?
A: Yup. Mouse over the entry in the studio timeline and then press the key that corresponds to the mouth shape you want, and it will change.

Q: Can I erase recorded mouse movements?
A: Now you can! Just mouse over the section in the timeline and press Delete/Backspace, like you would for the other cues.

Q: How did you make that (motion)?
A: There's a lot of matrix manipulation and math going on, but here's the gist of it: I have all of Miku's body parts as separate movieclips, and at initialization I run some of them through a function where I register part A to part B (and optionally, part C, for pieces that need to bridge two points like how the arms and legs do). Then in the update loop, I make some translations & rotations with math and apply them to some of the more independent pieces (like the head) and then iterate through the parts again and maintain the connections that were set up in the beginning. Some of the unconstrained pieces like the hair and necktie are set up with a rudimentary "ball on string" physics where I then rotate and stretch the pieces to connect to the imaginary mass.

Q: How do I download this?
A: There is a download button to the right on this page. Swf files can be opened in browsers or swf players.

So I've been working on this for a bit, and unfortunately has taken up far to much of my personal time then I'd like to admit, partially cause there was a deadline that I had to meet, but now that it's done and submitted I can finally post photos of it.

This is a fully functional (manually functional) Brachydios Switch Axe from Monster hunter 3 Ultimate. It is to scale, so as you can imagine it's quite large (7ish feet) But this took a lot of work to get right, and a lot of working converting gaming physics into reality is a tedious process. but all the pieces can slide around and such like a S.A From the game, it does both sword and axe mode and a put away mode as well.

Honestly it was a lot of fun, and I hope it does well in the competition. (IGN's MH3U Comp for any one who's wondering)

Thanks,
HSProps.

I have made a video for the axe. Disregard sound filmed on a camera: www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFkkP2…
