c. 5500 B.C.: Portal Project started by the Che'rum, a project to allow each intelligent world to settle the planets of their particular galaxy. A cloaked satellite was placed in orbit of the world where the intelligent life lived. Then Che'rum survey ships or Exploration-Probes searched the galaxy for living worlds.
