After a day of shenanigans due to it being Halloween things finally settled back to normal within the SHA-JO base. Curtis hung his make shift costume in his closet before turning to face a waiting Kou within his doorway.
"So... Have you thought about our little idea?"
Curtis gave him a bit of a serious look.
"Yeah. I managed to talk about it with the girls last night. I think we'll go with it."
"Alright. It's settled then. This base will be abandoned later today. Make sure you leave nothing behind. Also once we're air borne we'll set you all up with a base jabber to get you to the Orb Union."
Kou took a step out of Curtis's room.

Curtis woke up the next morning, early. The sun hadn't even come up yet. He sat up and got out of bed. He walked into the bathroom and turned on the sink. He slashed his face with some water a bit before turning off the water.
